    i haven't read too much about that but it sounds like he might have a bit of a point. A lot of women folk are also a wee bit annoyed about the "equality" thing as they didn't seem to realise that equal rights might mean equal fees. A lot of them are having to pay much higher fees than they used to.

    Exactly. If it's only worth $50 a barrel it's hardly worth bothering about. I can't understand why we wasted all that money extracting it at (an adjusted for inflation) price of about $25 a barrel for nearly half a century.

    He plays at Rosemount in Blairgowrie. Not sure about making the cut though. That would be a big achievement. The last British amateur to do that was Peter McEvoy, which was a wee while ago. He is playing with Sandy Lyle in the first 2 rounds, which I think is a nice touch from the organisers.
