Heard their manager on radio this morning. He said that he wasn't worried that they might miss the penalty as Dougie Gair has scored 53 out of 55 penalties he has taken throughout his career. That's a pretty impressive record.
I was talking about the playoffs for all the divisions since the SPFL was formed. I think I read somewhere that Hibs were the only team from a higher division who have failed to win out in the playoffs. I couldn't be ersed checking it out though, so I could be havering mince.
I could be wrong, and I often am, but I think that up until this season, the play offs have only resulted in only one team from a lower division getting promoted. Or, another way to look at it, only one team from the higher division has "Hibsed it".
Well, I'm sure my version won't be word for word correct, but once you watch the replay I'm fairly sure my version is closer than scotlad's twitter pals version.
i'm just going from memory though, and we often hear and remember things differently to other folk. I would be quite happy for the SNP to come out as a republican party. Hopefully this is the start of that.
He was on prime time TV every single night for a about 6 weeks. And to be fair, although he is a political imbecile, he was by far the most entertaining of the lot of them. He was doing a Boris. And don't forget it was Fifers who voted for him. Although 9,000 students at St Andrews might have helped him out as well.
I don't think he said anything that folk don't already know. He didn't say it quite like scotlad reported it. It was more along the lines of a lot of folk in the SNP are republicans but they just went along with the party line during the referendum campaign. Nothing new there.
To be fair the only reason he is able to "hogg the ba" is because he probably IS better than everybody else. We called the greedy wee bastrds. They were always wee.
