  1. I think the general feeling is that the restrictions are being kept in place for now to allow us to best chance of being able to remove them before our first game. I think they'll be in place until around Friday the 4th. Glasgow hasn't reached its peak yet, only when that happens and it starts dropping again will we see a relaxation of the restrictions.
  2. Seemed fine at the premiere of Sir Alex's new documentary. Was walking no bother.
  3. They said that they will email out a link to download the app, where you log in with your UEFA details and your tickets will be on there. I'm sure you'll be able to download the app independently from whatever email they send you out though.
  4. Is the official SFA twitter feed a reliable source though? 😂
  5. Didn't really show you what happened. It didn't look bad, he just looked a bit uncomfortable. Probably off as a precaution
  6. McTominay off limping. Hopefully nothing serious
  7. https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/119372-euro-2020/ This is about all I can find, but it ties in with what I remember when ordering.
  8. I think it'll be open to allow for more distancing. I can't see anything online about the exact split from UEFA, Cat 2 may encompass parts of the North & South Stands also. I do remember picking Cat 2 as I didn't want to end up front row in an end.
  9. Cat 2 tickets are the corners. Cat 3 are the ends and Cat 1 is North and South from memory.
  10. Don't think thats what he means. For example I have 2 tickets for our game vs Czech Rep from the public sale. I will likely go with a friend to that one. Had they been paper tickets, I would have given him his paper ticket and that would have been that. Now with the tickets being digital, they will both be in my account. So does he scan in with my phone or can I digitally transfer him his ticket onto his UEFA account.
  11. Hope this is true 😆 Won't be able to relax until the confirmation email comes through from UEFA!
  12. The FA cup final is a government run test event. Everyone is tested before and after, so they want to see how crowds like that can effect transmission. Euros games won't be under the same testing regime so isn't comparable
  13. Agreed, that will be the case in the future. I think if this Indian variant wasn't an issue then Glasgow would have been opening up on schedule. There is just a bit of caution being applied as there is no concrete evidence of how the vaccine performs against it. That being said there are reports starting to come out of India that their HCWs are showing good resistance to the variant where they have had both AZ doses. I think we'll see a ramp up of second AZ doses in the next week or so.
  14. Yeah it has, but there is certainly an upward trend that can't be ignored. Cases over the 7 days increased last week and will have increased again this week. This is expected though as lots of society has opened up to a degree. As you say as long as testing stays below 5% we should be OK. I do think that Glasgow will be in level 3 for another couple of weeks, maybe even right up to the Euros. These trends take a long time to turn round unfortunately.
  15. Of course they haven't, I never suggested otherwise. They've left Glasgow in level 3 because the number of cases per 100k people is up at nearly 80 frun under 50 a week ago. I was responding to your comment that cases had doubled in a day, there is a reason for that and it was an IT issue. They look at case numbers on a rolling 7 day average anyway.
  16. This is what the Government are doing to be fair, being cautious and seeing what happens. If these increasing case numbers result in an increase in hospital admissions this will only come to light in a couple of weeks, by that time it's too late to put the brakes on. They don't have any concrete evidence that this new variant is the same as existing ones and doesn't result in an increase in severity of symptoms. It's entirely likely that everything will be fine but they will take no chances until they know for sure. Percentage of positive cases is still low, which is great. That said a couple of weeks ago it was under 1% so there's clearly an upward trend there.
  17. Cases were low yesterday due to an IT issue that meant a lot of the cases were only reported today. You can't look at it day to day, but that's why it has doubled from yesterday to today. Hopefully the mass testing drive in the south side will help nip this in the bud. They did seem confident that it was contained within that area and that all cases were interlinked suggesting that community transmission was unlikely
  18. No, Hampden has a set number of fans. Other venues have stated their capacities as a minimum of which leaves them the scope to increase which Hampden did not do. There's absolutely zero chance of the Scottish Government allowing the increasing of the capacity, especially with the trends beginning to show that Glasgow has a rapidly increasing number of cases.
  19. Take them out of it then, there's no way that UEFA wouldn't want more people in the stadium if there was a chance that there could be. More money for them.
  20. The fans at the snooker and the folk at the brits are part of government run test events. Everyone attending has to test beforehand and afterwards for a period of time to see what effect having these events have on transmission. Can't see that being applied to 20k people going to a football match unfortunately. Might be wrong but I would assume that the SFA and Uefa would love more folk in Hampden, its the Scottish Government that are restricting the number of people. I can't see them relaxing the restrictions on that anytime soon.
  21. Had tickets for all the games at Hampden, returned the Czech v Croatia game already though. Just got the email through saying my tickets for the knockout round game have been cancelled and I'm being refunded. Tickets for the Czech game and Croatia game still showing on my ticket portal. Fingers crossed.
  22. If we finish as one of the top 4 3rd placed teams, who we play will be entirely dependent on which other groups the 3 other teams have came from. It's all been mapped out so they won't just allocate us Hampden. For us to play at Hampden and play (presumably) Spain then the best third placed teams would have to come from Groups A, D, E & F or Groups B, D, E & F or Groups C, D, E & F. Wikipedia has a chart that you can see the different permutations. Essentially though we probably won't really know where the 3rd place team in our group is playing until most if not all the group games are finished. It's one of the problems with having a 24 team tournament and having some but not all 3rd place teams qualifying and trying to ensure that no teams from the same group end up playing each other in the first knockout round.
  23. Don't think his ban applies to international games, may be wrong though
