  1. I went out in a huff walking the dog at 0-10. - tempted do another couple of laps now!
  2. Going get pumped here if don’t watch out!
  3. One of the angles shows it skidding- if it was the other way around France get it all day! Fucking robbed!
  4. Croatia is October school holidays here you absolute dancer! We won't get away tickets I doubt but tempted to go in the home end although probably need to double check they're not absolutely fucking mental before committing! Edit: They're fucking mental - will watch by the pool!
  5. Saw on the UEFA website c.20m folk applied for c.1m tickets - doubt everyone would buy what they were allocated so wouldn't be surprised come March there is a decent amount of resale available although expect they'd get hoovered quick. Any idea how they're doing it or is it another lottery in them emailing to offer you if you failed in the ballot? Can't see for example an England, France, Spain fan for example who 'only' won Scotland v Hungary or Switzerland tickets taking them up particularly the higher priced ones. If you'd won a few maybe but as a one off?
  6. Bit of a scoop for the Beeb in fairness that Nicholas Witchell was able to report live from the scene as the colonoscopy past by him!
  7. What about his record in competition though? WC Qualification Beat Faroese home and away Beat Hungary home but we're completely pish lucky to get a winner in the 90th minute. Beat them away. Drew with Ukraine at home after we squeaked a 93rd minute equaliser meaning we were on the verge of third. Ukraine lost to Hungary and us in a double header though where understandably they looked like they didn't want to be there. Lost to Spain away by 8 which was the same conceded by Hungary and Ukraine combined. The 2 nil loss at home was the highlight of the group. Beat Austria at home after extra time and were billed underdogs despite there being only 2 places between us and we were at home. Could easily have gone the other way. Republic of Ireland, ranked late 20s next was up there with the shittest performance I've seen any team I follow give including Stoke ffs. Nations League Wasn't expecting much but it's completely different from Clarke as he went into Euro 20 qualifying with us ranked 25th. Losa took over a side that had just been pot 1 ranked 10th. England away - best performance by miles England home - worse than ROI and sack should have followed given our sporting integrity had been called into question prior. Netherlands away did orate but they're a class above and showed. Home good gritty performance. Belgium two creditable draws although their women aren't the same as the blokes. Scotland and Belgium have about the same number of registered players and they've only recently ramped up. Euro Qualifying Have to finish top 2 in league B - sacked if doesn't B1 plays B2 - sacked if doesn't get through 1st playoff. Final play off - A3/4 team likely away We're not making the Euros with him in charge unless he's working down the ladder pulling more youngsters through. Everyone else is ramping up development so standing still we'll go backwards rapidly
  8. Completely agree - they've gone backwards for 5 years and need to concentrate on their performance on the pitch rather than anyone's off it. Our sporting integrity as a nation was called into question last night and they churn that shit out including the embarrassing Cuthbert commentary. I've experienced a whole host of emotions supporting Scotland but shame isn't usually one but last night was a disgrace to the shirt. 11 fouls in 90 minutes getting humped off England- might as well have just sat down.
  9. England are a good side but that's an embarrassment in the circumstances. As soon as Corsie gave her interview suspected a pumping as calamity typically follows her giving it the big 'un whether its ticketing, equal pay or now Scotland not rolling over for a tummy tickle. If she wants to say something authoritative it should be around had England qualified any Scotland player on that pitch tonight accepting a Team GB call up should never play for us again. However suspect her nose would have been firmly up Wiegman's arse coveting the tick box house jock spot had England qualified for the Olympics. Don't know what it is, and it isn't the results, but ever since the World Cup fallout its been a difficult side to actually like - there's just something nae right about them since.
  10. Gone balls deep 3x3 Prime seats in the hope of getting one but not three as couldn't afford the subsequent divorce
  11. How do we qualify for the euros after relegation- top our group then beat a bottom team from League A? There's a cracking side in there somewhere.
  12. England Turkey Scotland Italy No thanks France Turkey Scotland Italy Ffs France Albania Scotland Italy Ffs Germany Denmark Scotland Greece That'll do I suppose.
  13. It's mental really that if Norway had beat us in Oslo, and the rest of the group played out as it did, we'd have been level on points. Was goal difference first or head to head record because if its the later we'd have needed a win last night? Brilliant campaign anyway but even qualifying by 6 clear points the actual margin was ridiculously tight.
  14. Last night was perfect for Bobb as a game with nothing at stake so had a lot of freedom plus we didn't really seem have a plan to deal with him and their right back. Probably played himself into a decent loan to Germany or something rather than having a list of Championship plodders wanting him. Be good if we did same with Doak in next few years but there doesn't seem many dead rubbers on the horizon to try it and the friendlies will probably be utilised more conservatively I'd guess
  15. Yeah Wales and ROI seem more open to it and it must help short term to boost their development. If the club manager sees them cutting it at international level then surely they move up the pecking order or puts pressure on to develop them. The last two games haven't meant anything so why not chuck him on? If he does orate it boosts his chance of a decent loan too potentially on the continent. Instead we've found out McLean's not brilliant out wide and Doak stands out at u21 which we knew both of already.
  16. Be interesting see how his career progresses as he's only had 4 first team games at 20 according to Wiki. Looks like he needs a decent loan or move or could fade into obscurity. It was a bit like when De Bruyne ripped us v Belgium but not sure Bobb is that level - wouldn't be surprised if he had a nomadic career out of what could have been. If he was Scottish doubt we'd cap him yet whereas Norway playing him helps his development
  17. It meant the square route of fuck all essentially tonight but if it wasn't for that final minutes in Oslo this and Thursday could have been calamitous. Injury played a massive part but goal keeper and upfront are more obvious an issue than even just a week ago. Brown isn't international class and doesn't score goals - that Dykes came on and actually did worse is troubling. I like 4 at the back but that isn't the defence to try it with. That Patterson looked arguably the best defensively is again troubling. I'd have gone 5-3-2 to see if Shankland off Dykes is an option. It would also be handy to have a wild card raw as fuck like Doak throw on for a bit of excitement (like Bobb) whereas we trialed a 31 year old on the wing who couldn't get near Bobb to help out and we seemed to have no idea how to do it all game - he's playing reserve football and shouldn't be ripping international players a new arsehole. Ultimately no damage done and fantastic achievement. Questions can rightly be asked of the manager though on tactics and selection this week outside of the injuries. I'd also say if we're whoring out caps to England C players we need to focus away from wingers.
  18. Essentially it's a glorified friendly but this performance poses a lot of questions.
  19. All came from Brown's dummy in fairness πŸ˜‰
  20. With the ball we look orate but with out it we're absolutely terrifying!! I loved Brown at Stoke as rums all day but massively out of his depth here. Them giving a player like Bob a go is something we're too shy of - Doak should be on the bench at least.
  21. Car crash stuff without the ball. Bob's causing mayhem but Rita and Sue would probably cause us issues too.
  22. Draw there is a decent result given players missing- could have won it if tighter at the back
