Very close to where I used to grow up. Bergisch Gladbach is quite wide. Where about are you staying exactly? Generally good place. Looks to be on the edge of town? Yeah, you are a bit outside town then. Public transport sending you to Refrath line No 1 via bus 451/452. From Refrath you can go to any important place (Heumarkt for Old town, Neumarkt for city centre and stadium) easily. Would recommend to take the train to Bergisch Gladbach and then take cab to place you stay at.
