  1. This one to McTominay has properly deflated it for me. He was absolutely massive for us during qualifying. Especially when we don’t have an out and out goalscoring striker & rely heavily on our midfielders to chip in with goals, then you know you can rely on the likes of McTominay, McGinn to step up and produce a moment of brilliance out of nowhere. I don’t know if it was a contact injury or if he hyper extended his knee but his recation is a worry as he’s seen here signalling towards the bench to be subbed before the physio does, banging the turf in anger and even struggling to get himself down towards the tunnel. Again just hope it ain’t a really bad one but hard to see any positives from our injury situation just now. https://twitter.com/_StrettyEnd/status/1784252549622645207/mediaViewer?currentTweet=1784252549622645207&currentTweetUser=_StrettyEnd
  2. McTominay’s face gave the impression that it looked a bad one. So hope it’s not a serious one but the way our luck has been, I’m really struggling to find any good positives on the injury front to make me change my mind 😢
  3. I dread to think when you realise you’ve not actually bought the train ticket for those journeys and only purchased the seat reservations 🫣
  4. Kieran Tierney…. yep he’s injured again 🙄 Groin injury suffered in training. Also - Aaron Hickey’s chances of being fit in time to play at the Euros rated as “not fantastic” by his club manager. Thank feck the Euros don’t begin for another 7 weeks but these increasing amount of recent injuries are deeply concerning to say the least.
  5. What position do these 2 play? Any real potential possibility of them being called up for the Euro squad, considering our players are picking up injuries at the worst possible time 😢
  6. Ahh didn’t know that he was eligible. Then again Wales are short on good strikers themselves so won’t be surprised if they call him up considering they’ve never been shy in calling up players that are playing at that level. Definitely agree that the strikers position is still short on decent options. I’d still like to see Conway & Hardie given an opportunity to see if they can play at this level.
  7. Please to god I hope McTominay is not the next one to be on the injury list! Was sitting on the turf and asking to be subbed off. Walked off looking as if he was carrying a niggle/strain.
  8. I’d rather it was kept that way and he makes the odd sub appearance here and then. He’s just so injury prone that any injury between now and June will no doubt rule him out which will be the biggest blow from all these injuries we’ve had this week. I’m sure Aston Villa were interested in him. Didn’t Emery sign him for Arsenal?
  9. Agree although Doak is still injured and there’s been no word on how he’s been getting on with his recovery. I think if UEFA do increase the squad selection size to 26 then both Ralston & Fraser would have made it even if none of these injuries this week would have happened. Might also give a chance for the two MLS based players in Gauld & Morgan to get into the squad now. I seriously cannot remember another nation having this much bad luck injury wise going into a major tournament?
  10. Has he even recovered from his injury?
  11. It’s the part I’m getting so nervous every time this thread keeps getting bumped up
  12. Stuart Armstrong stretchered off with a serious knee injury that’s similar to Lewis Ferguson’s. Our players seem to be dropping like flies at the worst possible time 😢
  13. Deserved goal for the sheep SFA livid now with that 😂
  14. Just shows how biased the game is in Scotland. If that was Celtic or Rangers - a penalty is awarded 100 times out a 100.
  15. That’s an outrageous decision. Happens at the other end of the pitch, a penalty is awarded all day long.
  16. Who’s that idiot that keeps on whistling near the gantry?
  17. The same could be said about Che Adams who only committed himself to play for us once we qualified for Euro 2020. Plus he rejected call ups from us previously under McLeish and in Clarke’s early tenure. Patterson is definitely out. He’s done his hamstring which is going to require surgery. I like Livramento as a player but he’s said on numerous occasions that he wants to represent England at senior level at some point in his career. So that’s out the window. Looking at the options unless Hickey can make a miraculous return in time (praying that he does🙏🏽🤲🏽), I think it’s probably going to be two players selected out of Ralston/Johnston/McCrorie. Ralston hardly gets a game at Celtic and I was surprised why he didn’t push for a move in January even if it was just on loan to a club that he can get himself regular game time. Johnstone doesn’t get much game time himself and only makes the odd sub appearance for Sturm Graz. McCrorie is the only one that has been playing regularly but I don’t know how he’s been doing at Bristol City.
  18. Hope we get a good allocation then as that stadium is huge. Out of the 3 away trips for this campaign, this is the one I’m most intrigued to visit.
  19. Nathan Patterson making a rare appearance for Everton as a 2nd half substitute has now been substituted himself with what looks like an injury. Honestly at this rate now, you are asking the question… who’s next?
  20. Gutted to hear that about Ferguson. Just hope this doesn’t derail his progression and he comes back a bigger stronger player. Midfield’s our strongest area in the team but so annoying to see him miss out as any injury to the likes of McGinn or McTominay then he would be straight in. Possible replacements is I’m hoping for is Tom Cairney or Ryan Gauld. Although I know it’s Steve Clarke so expecting it to be someone like Dominic Hyam/Ross McCrorie/David Turnbull or any other player that hasn’t been called up for a while.
  21. Out of curiosity - When do the loyalty points get added to your account?
  22. Start thinking of a plan b. For my liking we’ve just become very one dimensional and predictable in our play on what we are going to try and do. Our main asset threat in this formation was always the Tierney/Robertson link-up down the left flank but when opposition teams know how to combat that or one of them goes injured then we just look so lost and powderpuff.
