  1. Quite like the snide Lurpak from both Aldi & Lidl. There's some things I feel you can scrimp on but others not... - Cheap kitchen roll yes, toilet roll no - Fake caramel wafers yes - Cheese yes but just those plastic slices for burgers - Coffee/tea, generally no Isn't Barrs cola ok? πŸ˜‹ I don't drink much fizzy juice either but like it sometimes if needing a wee boost...
  2. The hot sauces are Mr Egg's - he often adds them to my cooking so a bit of a sore point πŸ€”πŸ˜„ Just had a Chinese takeaway but no leftovers...
  3. Hopefully more fridges/profiles will appear πŸ˜ƒ I was never sure about honey for years as thought it tasted medicinal but it has grown on me a bit. Just thought should be kept out the fridge so the sugar doesn’t crystallise?? Half a lemon in the foil. The wine came from a visitor who lives in France though maybe just bought at the airport! I had been to the fruit & veg place on Thurs so that's why it looks fairly full. I always think Tesco must note that I buy crap to eat as not buying much f&v from there then I'll be blacklisted when they privatise healthcare... Purdey's is the lovely juice and eggs are on the left of 2nd bottom shelf. I love eggs in any form, those are Corrie Mains Farm ones with a nice orange yolk πŸ˜‹ Can't believe I'm sitting doing show & tell with my fridge πŸ˜‚
  4. @TDYER63 is that honey on your top shelf? Should it not be at room temp...πŸ˜‹
  5. Even though a bit similar to a certain Bring on the Lucie...
  6. I took that to mean that the theoretical journalist could/should apply the same standard of curiosity and questioning for a person of similar standing in another party. Why is it a sensitive issue for some and not others? We know the answer to that re double standards but the pointless gotcha questions continue.
  7. Did he do one of his jogging stunts too? Probably had it in his back pocket all along just for a pishy headline.
  8. Aaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh the comments section! "Ruth Davidson and Douglas Ross are both wonderful examples of Scottish common sense, competence and both have worked hard to protect the union from the crass, victim-stoked obsession with breaking it asunder. Well done, Douglas!" 🀑
  9. Was he not there last Monday as a speaker for an event to mark 25 years of devolution? Mark Drakeford there too.
  10. Bought these in Aldi this morning, mainly because my mum says this a lot 🀣
  11. Wonder how these elections down South will go today - turnout 25%?
  12. They are all quite hysterical about it. Very unhinged behaviour.
  13. With Forbes aged 34 with a young family, it can't be that tempting a job. The nonsense against her has already started; you'd think she had been preaching to everyone or protesting outside abortion clinics the way folk are talking. Instead she's been asked deliberately hot potato questions and answered them. As you've already pointed out, it'll be the same for anyone. This constant looking for a publicity weak spot in a person and exploiting it doesn't help with any of the 'getting on with the day job' that they're all het up about.
  14. I'd consider voting for you 🀣 I agree with what you've said above, I don’t get why folk get so drawn in and riled by this stuff, even if I've reservations about some aspects of it all.
  15. Speaking of doorsteps...a friend said they had the Reform party round recently (they live in a Bearsden bungalow street). The conversation went like this: Husband: I mean, you guys are pretty right wing though... Reform man: Oh I don’t know about right wing. We’re definitely Conservative but we’re not Andy Robertson or anything... Husband: Eh, do you mean Tommy Robinson? ANDY ROBERTSON πŸ˜‚
  16. Most considerate! 😊 Not quite bedtime-ish but was having a wee foray into 90s house classics and enjoyed this. πŸ‘Œ
  17. I just got into bed there and pressed play on this one - eeek πŸ˜„
  18. πŸ‘The original comment I responded to was about Yousaf being a national security risk. This is where Westminster are relevant given their tinkering in other nations' conflicts which the Scottish govt/parliament can only have nightmares about. The vitriol on here can be very uneven given the difference in powers and consequences.
  19. It's not just whataboutery though, it's an observation of the enormous amount of hypocrisy we put up with daily. The fact that Sunak is still in power after a plethora of scandals which dwarfs anything happening north of the border shows how broken our shambles of a system is. The Tories voted against the very creation of Scottish & Welsh parliaments...there might come a day when it will be only Westminster we can look at.
