If you don't believe that SOD is the weak link in this scotland team, you're not watching closely enough. His timing is poor, his positional sense is poor, he has no pace...he's shite and the team will be even better when he is eventually replaced

I agree it's about finding the best combination but we haven't given the McTominay/Gilmour combination a reasonable try.

He has played the vast, vast majority of his Manchester United performances in the Premier League at Central midfield...he should be afforded the opportunity to play in his preferred position for a few games to let him put his stamp on it. I'm honestly amazed that anyone thinks Calum McGregor is better than him

Is he a better player? Aye without a doubt... ...has he been used here there and everywhere for Scotland and not been given a run of games in his best position? Aye without a doubt. McGregor has played well recently I can't argue with that but he's had some shockers for Scotland as well over the years.

With Harrison, Patterson, Ramsay and Hickey we look as if we are going into a good place in terms of our right hand side...the dark days of SOD and Palmer will be a distant memory in a couple of years

He's been excellent since he signed for us. He's clever, talented, he works like fuck...and now he seems to have added goals to his game. I'm not fussed if he gets called up or not, because I don't think he would actually play much, if at all, but I don't see him as any sort of drop off from Kevin Nisbet or Jacob Brown. I realise that he is a completely different position but the thought that SOD is good enough for Scotland but TW isn't, is a bit of a giggle really.

I watch the guy most weeks and his attitude is anything but questionable...if anything, his attitude is outstanding

Watching Kevin Nisbet just now...Tony Watt is a much superior player in my opinion
