  1. People just want to dictate to others what they aren't allowed to wear, how they aren't allowed to dress, what they aren't allowed to watch, what they can't drink, who they're allowed to support, etc. It's like this cultural appropriation nonsense. The Nazis are alive and dictating. It's a free world. No one has the right to tell anyone how to live their life. (Joining this conversation late, but I'll probably get accused of turning this thread off topic) On topic: Fraser agrees terms with Newcastle.
  2. Ryan Fredericks is eligible by way of his Scottish grandfather. He was approached June, last year. It was reported. I know that no one has mentioned it, but I'd promote Nathan Paterson. I don't care that he's only 18. From what I've seen of him for Scotland u19, he's far better than our other opinions. It's Steve Clarke, though, so Patterson will have to wait till he turns 25.
  3. Doesn't offend me in the slightest. It's only a posting board? Explain that to the TAMB establishment, as they seem honestly petrified. Bless.
  4. Totally. He would be a great addition. He has my respect for not choosing us out of desperation.
  5. Lack of self-awareness is severely at play. Apparently, talking about tactics, etc, is more heinous than throwing around bigotted and hate-filled insults. I mean, this thread is off-topic, and yet no one is saying boo about it. Why? Does the OP own the board? And yet, I reference a link that was in a thread, and talked about it and I was accused of railroading the thread. Someone called "ProudScot" (I love irony) suggested that a 17-year-old kid, one of Scotland's brightest prospects, will be a Tesco driver in a few years. Calling fellow Scotland fans (and fellow SNP supporters) this, that and the other. Hoping Scottish youngsters drop out of the game, etc. It's ridiculous and cringe-worthy behaviour from adult males. No wonder Scotland is still under England's thumb. The establishment here are scared of someone from the outside who has the ability to control the narrative. They hate seeing someone control the narrative in their playground. They know that they're ultimately powerless in the face of him, so they cry and run to Daddy to protect them. Instead of actually growing a pair. PS: And they'll say that you're talking to yourself, mrniamboc, because as I said, they're ultimately without power.
  6. Ryan Fredericks is a curious one. He's 27 years old. England have TAA, Wan-Bissaka, Trippier and Walker in front of him, and yet he still doesn't want to play for Scotland. I respect him for that. For not choosing Scotland as a last resort.
  7. In fairness to me, I haven't seen much of Leeds. I know the manager, he's a top, top manager. If Bielsa rates Cooper, and has him as the captain, I'll gladly reserve judgment. It'll be interesting to see how Cooper does in the upcoming season.
  8. Great news for McKinstry. Good luck to the lad. Hopefully he fulfils his potential and he's guided by Bielsa, one of the greatest managers in the world.
  9. The thing with McTominay is that his main attribute is taking the ball and carrying it forward, the reason he has never played well alongside Pogba is because that's Pogba's job. United fans are wanting McTominay to learn from Matic, but it's easier said than done.
  10. I wouldn't really have a problem playing Patterson anywhere. He's no better or worse than the rest of the players (apart from Tierney and Roberson). He might be suspect at the back, but so is Gallagher, McKenna and Cooper. About Dykes, I read recently that he played Aussie Football in his youth. Having watched that sport, if that's his playing style, I'm guessing he'll get no change from foreign referees. Manchester United have bought Donny Van De Beek. Not a good sigh of things to come for McTominay. Guessing Scott will go even further down the pecking order.
  11. ON TOPIC: Two strikers withdraw, one utility player is called up. I'm so glad Steve Clarke is Scotland boss. ON TOPIC:
  12. Can we stay on topic, please. Transfers belong in the transfer thread. Conversations belong in the communication thread. End communication.
  13. ON TOPIC: A day late: Kieran Tierney was solid yesterday. Arsenal are buying a center back, initially I thought that meant that Arsenel would switch to a back four, but maybe not, as Luiz can't play in a back four. The Community Shield winner's medal is worth more than all of his medal haul for Celtic.. Combined. As for Andrew Robertson, he was the only Liverpool player that was switched on. His team-mates looked like they were still on holiday. ON TOPIC:
  14. ON TOPIC: Ryan Porteous is not the best defender in the world, but surely he should be in the squad. He's certainly the equal of McKenna and Gallagher and Cooper. It'll be interesting to see how Cooper plays in the upcoming season. ON TOPIC:
  15. ON TOPIC: McGregor also played. ON TOPIC: (Haven't you noticed that it's one rule for me, and another rule for everyone else)
  16. ON TOPIC: McKenna and Porteous were standouts today. ON TOPIC: (Sorry, Pete, if I reply directly, I'll be accused of taking the thread off-topic. From here on in, I won't reply.)
  17. ON TOPIC: You can't. I've tried. NowTV blocks screen mirroring/Smart View. ON TOPIC:
  18. ON TOPIC: Josh Doig looks pretty good, too. Porteous should definitely be in the senior squad. ON TOPIC:
  19. ON TOPIC: Hornby played 14 mins in Ligue 1. Nice to see. I have high hopes for him. In my opinion, he's better than McBurnie. I'd actually have Hornby in the seniors now. ON TOPIC:
  20. ON TOPIC: McCrorie, Ferguson, McKenna and Porteous all played well today. ON TOPIC:
  21. Anyway. This thread is about players in action. Many people are having off topic conversations here, but only I get it in the neck. So, I'm out.
  22. Because he commands that I don't reply to anyone. He doesn't want me to post. Period.
  23. No. He linked an article of how Arteta used Tierney in a back three. JECK them commented, in depth, on 3-5-2. I was replying to those posts. Do you just ignore everyone else's posts and just focus on mine? Skybluescot brought up the formation thing, when he linked the article. Turnbull should be in the squad. Period. If Billy Gilmour was fit and firing, he'd be in the under 21 squad. Wow, you are very much about the establishment, aren't you? That's like saying "Boris Johnson is the PM, so he knows better than everyone who isn't"
  24. Yeah. It's not always about you. Do you even read anything that I write? Proudscot said that I'm not allowed to post my opinions.
  25. Apparently, I'm not allowed to give my opinion. If you wonder why I don't want replies/engage, have a look at Proudscot's post.
