  1. Stuck the Germany game on 5 mins ago and it looks like everyone but Wilson behind the ball and Germany with all the possession.
  2. Anderson starting in midfield for Newcastle and playing alright. Certainly doesn’t look out of place
  3. I'm a big Tierney fan but he's not better than Shaw. Man Utd already signed Malacia last season too so can't see them wanting a 3rd LB
  4. Apparently he was rushed back too soon from his injury and aggravated it in their last game according to the manager
  5. I didn't catch the first half but at the start of the second half it was definitely a back 4 with Partey as a RB & Kiwior as a LB and both looked uncomfortable
  6. Cooper on the bench for Leeds as is Scotland U21 Jeremiah Mullen
  7. A lot of Arsenal fans online seemed gutted but also resigned to Tierney leaving. All the paper talk is Man City or Newcastle but I’d love to see him go abroad. Crazy to think he’s still only 25
  8. Tierney brought on in 63rd minute. Fair to say Arteta's experiment of playing a centre back there instead of him hasn't work.
  9. Looks like it's Scotland Rugby who've organised it so not quite sure why the SSC is involved. £39.40 for a pre season friendly too. daft prices
  10. Hanley had surgery on his achilles so probably out until next season
  11. I'd make the same argument for Hendry. His season at club level has been a bit all over with injuries and going between Belgium & Italy but his performances for Scotland haven't wavered and if he's fit then I think he should play in the middle with KT & Porteous either side. Souttar has probably timed it right to be in with a shout for a callup with Hanley & McKenna out so it's probably between Souttar, Cooper & Hyam for 2 squad places I reckon
  12. Brighton linked with Celtic's Ronan Ferns. Leeds linked with Aberdeen's Jamie Mercer having already agreed a deal for Hamilton's Josh McDonald
  13. Wondering if there's any Manchester or Stockport based TA on here? Live between the two and usually spend ages trying to find a pub that'll show our away games. Would be good to meet up with and watch the Norway match in a pub with some other TA in the area.
  14. Sounds like Patterson had a good game against a very tough winger to defend in Mitoma
  15. Burke was fantastic in the first half putting the Blackburn left back under a lot of pressure and took his goal very well. Second half was anonymous and got substituted
  16. First half of the season I could understand how Tierney couldn’t get a game but in quite a few of the Arsenal games I’ve watched recently, including tonight, Zinchenko has looked a bit suspect.
  17. Quality hit from Fiorini but tackling definitely not his strong suit given that foul in the box. He still has 3 years on his contract at Man City so I imagine he'll be playing in the Championship again next season on loan somewhere else.
  18. On his selection decision, Dyche said: “Just Ben’s experience, playing here and his experience in football in general. We know Patto is a very good player and is going to continue to learn. He’s been out a very long time as well earlier in the season. “Seamus is making good progress. We think there’s a chance of his recovery before the weekend. It’s not just about one player but he was affected too easily for two goals.” So despite Godfrey having an awful game it looks like Patterson still won't get a chance.
  19. BBC radio 5 pundits mystified why Patterson is on the bench given how bad Godfrey has played. Dyche said in a press conference that Patterson & Garner aren’t quite ready for Premier League football. Well, it looks like their more experienced defenders aren’t either.
  20. He's still only 20 though, comfortable on either side and bags of potential. I'd be very surprised if Hickey doesn't go on to play for a top club
  21. Belgian side Genk are preparing a summer move for Aberdeen midfielder Connor Barron. Technical director De Condé wanted Barron last summer but couldn't agree a fee & will now go up against Celtic, Bologna & Sassuolo for his signature.
  22. Think that would be a bad move tbh. That division is just full of EPL cast offs
  23. A shame their manager has said he's looking at an emergency loan for someone to play at the weekend. Maybe if they confirm they're staying up with games to spare he might get a chance again
  24. He's still technically been the right back, they've just played him a bit more like Man city do with their full backs where they drift into midfield. Given the situation at Liverpool I doubt Klopp would risk playing Ramsey even if he was fit
