I was a big fan of Liam Kelly and thought he was unlucky at QPR (their fans seemed to blame the defence more than him more often than not) but this season he's looked a shadow of what he was a year ago. Maybe his confidence has been blown with Motherwell being down where they are but he does seem to have gone backwards. The McCrorie situation is still the oddest one. I think he could be a good keeper for us and on the rare occasion he gets a chance for Rangers he seems to play well and then is cast aside as soon as Mclaughlin or McGregor is fit again. I'd really like him to leave this summer, especially since Beale has been very public about wanting to sign a new keeper and he's not given McCrorie a sniff.

SFA site has 1 in 4 for U16 and 1 in 8 (4 starts) for U19. In the few U19 games I've watched, him and his Man City teammate Adam linked well together but also there was a lot of times where Mebude would beat his man, put a ball in the box and there'd be noone there. I think his decision making can sometimes be off, crossing when he should shoot himself or vice versa, but he has pace and skill which not a lot of our youngsters have.

Doak has pulled out following his head injury for Liverpool U23s. Could be a big chance for Mebude to show what he can do at U21 level

Does he qualify for them? I know his brother was born in England but wasn't sure if he was too. I went to watch the Man City youth side a month ago and he was a stand out player. Hope he gets loaned out soon to play some senior football and improve his game even more.

It's a tough one because the lad is still only young and will no doubt have family, friends, agents, coaches all telling him different things about who he should play for. I hope he does eventually play for us as he seems to be highly rated by the coaches at Newcastle.

Id go with this. Mebude & Doak both tend to prefer the right side but they could swap or just have Duncan on the left. The lack of strikers is concerning, I’d assumed he’d call up Wilson again.

I've just realised on second look at the squad that Gemmill has reverted back to his old reluctance of calling up strikers with Dickson-Peters the only one in the entire squad. No doubt he'll throw Doak, Mebude or Duncan out of position like he used to with Middleton

Would have liked to have seen Hackney & Doig in the full squad, still time to get moved up I guess. Elliot Anderson looks to be the most notable player not in the squad. If he did switch to England then he can't play for their U21s until the next campaign having already played for us. Good to see Mebude brought up a level.

He was subbed off injured in a recent league game. Hanley and Porteous are the likely candidates. Would be hard to ignore Hyam at this point with Cooper, McKenna, Hendry all injured and Souttar only just being eased back

I's be surprised if he moves as he seems to love being at Man Utd and they're a club who play in multiple competitions so need a big squad. I think the surprising thing for me this season has been that whenever Ten Hag starts him he plays his usual centre mid position but whenever he brings him on as a sub he plays him much further forward.

Lee Johnson has said Nisbet is definitely fit for March's games so that's good news. He's also reported as saying he thinks Josh Campbell should be considered and that Mikey Devlin can push for a recall. I think Campbell is alright but way down the pecking order and as for Devlin, an odd comment maybe taken out of context given he's not even played a game for Hibs yet

Exactly, Stewart scored 24 in 46 the season in League One he was called up so a bit more prolific. I think we'd have to have a much worse injury crisis for Hardie to be looked at
