I might be deluded but at some point it'll click. I know we've seen talent wasted before but there's enough there to suggest it won't happen this time.
There was an article in the Daily Record this week criticising him for doing just that. That ridding the team of experience is folly. I think it's the right step but it'll take a long time. And the truth is there isn't the experienced old hand who can guide them.
Comments above urging restraint are right. We have a young first team. The current U21s will produce a handful and we need to give it time to see what impact the new initiatives have.
I feel pretty down this week as I was genuinely really optimistic but there needs a dose of reality.
Well, we lost but I'm glad I managed to see the last 20 minutes. 1 goal keeping error and a mistake by Gilmour but we look good. Great passing and really quick. Missed Hornby though.
Very refreshing after last night!
Billy Gilmour has been included in The Guardian's list of 60 best young talents in world football: https://www.theguardian.com/football/ng-interactive/2018/oct/11/next-generation-2018-60-of-the-best-young-talents-in-world-football
I accept that many of these will disappear but good to see the boy mentioned. Can't remember the last time I saw a Scot mentioned in this type of thing.
It's not just Sky. It's BT sport, Eurosport, that weird one that showed the Toulon tournament and loads of others. As you say, considering what they do show it's odd to not have the U21s.

I still believe something will click at some point.
Yes, I know. What I meant was that the coach recently said in an interview that they didn't buy him as a good player in the likely event of relegation. They were buying a player to play in the top flight.
Souttar, McKenna and Tierney. I wouldn't mind at all if that was our back three (if we chose that formation) for the next 8-10 years. Even then there's bound to be others to challenge them (Porteous for example).
Got to feel positive about that!
McTominay played the full 90 minutes and ended up centre back in back 4 apparently. Obviously not a great day but don't know the extent McTominay was to blame.
Won't there be an agreement about playing time Kent will have? I think Liverpool sent a bill to a lower league club last season for something like half a million for not playing enough?
Another win for Verona. Henderson played 85 minutes. They're top.
Only a few games gone but it'd be great to have Scots in the top flights of Spain, Italy and Germany!
