  1. Agreed, we introduced a few new players who apart from Mclean were good, so that is a positive. Why Phillips started instead of Cummings was a strange one, and Shinnie could have got some game time. Ryan Fraser could also have started rather than Forest, but may well do next time.
  2. I only mentioned Hampden, but I can get back to the centre of Glasgow quicker anytime I have been at Ibrox or Hampden. Pittodrie is about a 15-20 minute to the town centre and then just a few minutes t the railway station. Easter road is fairly easy too.
  3. Grow up...I posted an opinion. As for point scoring, you tried to score 7 but only got 6, makes you sound and look very daft. Not sure where the lies came from as I don't know Glasgow that well....
  4. Thank you for that, all I was getting was the lack of transport on match days.
  5. Oh Dear.......looks like I upset the native weegie. Superior knowledge of train stations in Glasgow, just what I always wanted to know zzzzz. Hampden still a shithole no matter how many stations people reckon are nearby and you will be saying next that all trains go directly into the centre in 5 minutes. Oh dear just because I dared to disagree.
  6. Only two regions voted yes, and as Dandydunn said not everyone voted no.....mmmm go figure
  7. The biggest shithole would be Hampden, no decent transport links back to the centre, to what is supposed to be our national stadium. you could stand till midnight waiting for a train to get back to the centre after a match, bloody ridiculous. Was at Wembley last year and it puts Hampden to shame
  8. It is not just Pittodrie where players have been booed, I watched all Scotland's qualifiers at Hampden and Chris Martin got loudly booed as he came on v Slovania, then scored the winner. I also heard Mulgrew and Anya on more than one occassion getting slated.....does this mean we wont play games at Hampden again ? No, never thought so, but people on here don't want Aberdeen's ground used again because of a small minority last night. Double standards from some in the central belt again.
  9. Played very well at centre back, my only problem is if we did play a team with a big physical forwards then his height may count against him, but I am sure he would still do a good job. He seems to have a great attitude for the game which is good to see.
  10. Totally beats me why the guy gets near the squad. Last night was a great chance to try out Cummings, but instead he got just over 5 minutes. The fact that Phillips never seems to be subbed is worrying as it means he will be in the team/squad. I reckon we would have won or got at least a draw if we had played a different forward last night. He not only missed a golden chance last night...he missed the friggin ball....total shit, and I hate to put down our own players.
  11. With Griffiths, Armstrong and possibly Brown back in the fold next time this was not too bad a performance. Philips selection baffles me along with about everyone else on here. I think with another striker tonight we would easily have got a draw at least. Fraser looked okay when he came on and Christie had some good touches for his first game.
  12. Cummings looked livelier in 7 minutes than Philips did for the entire game. Okay he missed a chance but was just on.
  13. Better than Philips any day...did u see that miss?
  14. 5 minutes, what a disgrace, what will that tell us ?
  15. So Cummings is getting 8 minutes or so, Is Strachan in the dugout?
  16. Shame we can't get Lee Griffiths on and get 2 free kicks
  17. Doing very well......must be the ground and the atmosphere
  18. Well that last post has been met with a deadly silence......must be the thought of a scotsman parting with money
  19. BTW...Anyone getting on Scotland to win at 12-1
  20. Well, must say it has been fun posting on here tonight, people now moaning about where the game is played and moaning about the support for nothing more than a friendly, as for players getting booed, this happens all the time at Hampden... look at Chris Martin, yes the guy who kept our hopes alive more than once. Seems to be a case of we can hand it out but cannot take it back.
  21. Yes very true....we are expected to travel to Glasgow for nearly every Scotland game, but they can't be arsed to travel outside of Glasgow when another grounds gets a Scotland game.......shit supporters
  22. the only cock on here is the blue nosed one...why the feck should it matter which ground we play at, it is the performance that should matter. If Pittodrie is a dump then what should we call Ibrox and the surrounding area....grow up
  23. Could be because it is a friendly and also on TV me thinks
