I just had a nudge about the ATAC website and I didn't think there was much there to me to catch my interest. Won't be going back on there. The part of the statement (paragraph?) saying that "regardless of the circumstances" is a bit of a slap in the face to the guy who missed the biggest match our country can play and smacks of being written by someone who was in to their own seat nice and early without fuss. Waste of time publishing that without a "we've asked the SSC for their comments" at the very least.

Norway coach Per-Mathias Hogmo has resigned after a series of defeats in qualifying for the 2018 World Cup finals, the Norwegian Football Federation has confirmed. “Per-Mathias and the NFF have agreed that Hogmo will end his functions as Norwegian manager,” the NFF said in a statement. With only three points from four matches in World Cup qualifying, Norway have little chance of qualifying for the 2018 tournament in Russia. The Norwegians have lost to Germany (3-0), Azerbaijan (1-0) and last Friday 2-1 to Czech Republic and are second bottom in Group C. They have one win over San Marino. Hogmo says he has “reached the point where the players and (the federation) weighed more.” Under him, Norway also failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 European Championship. There is no news yet about the identity of a possible successor. You can't deny there are some striking similarities here!

Ask yourself, would you be surprised if we lost any of those, Malta aside? I wouldn't. We could lose conceivably lose the lot. Therefore, fifth in this group is a real possibility. *sigh*

I said in qualifying for the Euros, we should be putting plans in place to get Michael O'Neill so I'm not changing my mind now that a couple of journos have jumped on. Look at the cold hard facts - his track record is proven in getting results with players of limited talent. That's where we need to be. Whether he comes or not is another is down another path of debate but if forming a shortlist, he must be on it.

Hello everyone. New member here but I've long read the threads on here and they always give me a good chuckle. Trust you'll make me welcome. Been a SSC member for many years, get to all the home matches and I usually get an away trip or two a year in. On this particular topic, it is for my club, Rangers, to remember this guy if they see fit. I don't think a Scotland international match is the place, especially an unofficial memorial. Hope we all get to and from the game safely though. That's the minimum any supporter should get. Anyway lightening it up..... hello again!
