  1. I didn't intend to equate as I've already stated, whether you think it or not. I saw something I didn't think was right and I commented on it. Looks like the order of things here, based upon club allegiances, is sacrosanct (hence the vitriol towards me) so maybe best for me to move on, I'll discuss Scotland matters elsewhere and I'll leave you to it here.
  2. Yes I did. I'm not and never have been a victim. You however appear to be a victim of your own narrowmindedness and hatred so much so that you immediately miss the intended point of a post and become abusing. Sad reflection. If there is an anti-Rangers bias here then I'll leave if you or others would prefer.
  3. I did. It was about violent conduct and language. Two points in fact.
  4. Actually, it was this: "Yes. It was on Steven Anderson I think. It’s a mans game though. I said it at the time that Anderson should’ve got on with it. That Hun hitting the deck for that is just as embarrassing."
  5. You're wrong. I used two examples of language I don't personally use but which I believe are equally as likely to cause offence to the recipient. Whether you think they are on par or not is for you to decide and one I don't care about in all honesty. I call myself a Rangers supporter and a Scotland supporter. Never something self-depreciating and which I know offends a sizeable number of my fellow supporters. Again, this seems to be a post about me which is making assumptions based on a pre-conceived generalised view of an entire club's support. Remarkable indeed.
  6. I wasn't trying to "paint" anything as equivalents. Offence is subjective and you dont need to run to a dictionary or the laws of the land before deciding if you're allowed to be upset or feel marginalised. For whatever reason you've missed my original point which is that certain types of language is intended to cause offence.
  7. I couldn't possibly begin to consider what goes on in the head of someone who jumps on another post and fires off a verbal assault on someone who was trying to make a point about any type offensive language. I get the impression I'm not welcome here but I'll keep it to strictly making points about football only and rise above the rest of it.
  8. Take a look at your brash, odious language - you're clearly displaying a bigoted view (based on an assumption) and you don't even know me.
  9. The captain one is difficult - I don't see a standout candidate and I'm glad that's McLeish's task and not mine. Tierney is definitely blunted at RB but I think he's more adaptable and therefore more comfortable at RB so I can see Eck going with what Strachan started. McLaughlin of Hearts appears to be a good candidate. Had a brilliant game at Ibrox recently and i'm not seeing much hugely better right now,
  10. "A thick Hun scumbag" then IN THE VERY NEXT SENTENCE" "Little wonder that bigotry has thrived for so long" The irony. "Scumbag" twice as well. Verbally challenged as well as hate filled. You the man!
  11. You can't walk about punching people regardless of which team you are playing. Be it Huns/Taigs or whichever SS you see fit to use.
  12. I wouldn't like to guarantee I could defend a free kick properly if someone walked up and hit me in the nuts regardless of how hard or soft the impact the impact looked to you.
  13. Ryan Jack during Hibs win at Ibrox. The one he won on appeal afterwards.
  14. So the victim is the guilty party for not being able to take any kind of punch? Nonsense.
  15. No it's true. See: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43262047
  16. Southgate meets with him this weekend and he is playing in the Manchester United first team. I'm not confident mate.
  17. He actually comments that there are folk who can't leave Greenock for the game. Not defending it! Just passing the message on . . . .
  18. Professional footballers aren't as passionate as you and I. They will protect their careers and choose to maximise their profile.
  19. Tierney is expected to add to his two Scotland senior caps this week when Strachan’s side take on Canada in a friendly before their crucial World Cup qualifier with Slovenia And the 19-year-old said: “Full-back is a position where you can switch sides. “I played right-back throughout a Nike tournament with Celtic’s Under-15s down in England and we won. “I don’t mind at all – I just need to start working on my right foot. ADVERTISEMENT “You just need to run down the line, cut in and shoot. But at the moment if the guy shows you down the line I’ve not got much chance. “You think of players like Danny McGrain switching flanks – it can happen. It was the same with Adam Matthews who was at Celtic a few years ago. “It’s not the worst thing – you’re still playing and still playing full-back. I’d honestly play anywhere on the park.” Tierney at RB on Sunday anyone? Gordon Tierney Berra Mulgrew Robertson Brown Armstrong Ritchie Cairney Snodgrass Fletcher
  20. I don't want to get in to the nuts and bolts of it because I do my thing and you all can do yours because it is a personal choice whether you commemorate or not. We need to pay this fine without appeal and move on. None of this CAS nonsense to determine whether it is political or not - that's a waste of time and money - we accept the consequences of defying a direct order of FIFA statutes. We were told in perfect clarity before the matches that there would be consequences. The fine is simply the cost of our FA's doing the right thing politically (in their eyes).
