  1. It's not player spec. It's a replica, and its the same sizing as the 2022 kits.
  2. Nothing wrong with a white away kit. We've had them from before the 1970's and the Rugby team seem to have a white away kit by default. I was kind of hoping for a red kit, though, as we haven't seen one of those for a while. By the way, for anyone buying the new kit, be aware that the new shirts are described as 'slim fit', whilst JD Sports describe the old shirt as 'standard fit'.
  3. Looks like they gave us the same template as the new Germany shirt rather than the Condivo 20 that people were expecting. All the new adidas shirts have these coloured cuffs but it works better on the German shirt. Would have been better to just keep the cuffs navy/white, but otherwise I think its OK. Welsh kit looks like a Chinese kit IMO.
  4. Tottenham seem to be the only club that produce all their retro shirts with the original manufacturer's logo on. Admiral, Hummel and Umbro, even though they're currently with Nike. Pretty sure Score Draw did the 86 Away shirt a few years ago so hope to see that available soon. The 80's red away wouldn't go amiss either.
  5. Forget everything else. For me Gabby Logan is enough to want them wiped out.
  6. Sorry mate. Wasn't expressing any opinion about the other shirts. Got mine from JD and was thought Bristolhibby was enquiring about sizes from the same. No skin off my nose where anybody gets their jerseys
  7. About the same as the home shirt. Got same size in both and they fit fine. That's if you're talking about the Adidas shirt, not the fakes.
  8. I don't know whether it about being a smaller team. Puma have given all their teams a plain white away shirt with only the neck trim differing across the teams. And that includes Italy. Personally I like the Adidas kits, but then I like the retro look
  9. The Footyheadlines page states that it will go on sale 'in the coming days'. The Scotland shirt was the only of the new Adidas away shirts that JD listed last night, so I guess someone at JD broke the embargo date and it will probably go on sale next week as the others have already been leaked on Footyheadlines.
  10. Looks Swedish right enough https://www.jdsports.co.uk/product/yellow-adidas-scottish-fa--away-2018-shirt/056338/

  12. I think the prices were around that level for a good while. It seems that the price has risen steeply since the JD sports tie-in. Although it seems to be reflected in the price of other shirts that are freely available from other shops. The prices charged by the likes of the Adidas store and Subside Sports are ridiculous. At least you can pick up the old shirt in JD for £20 to £15 quid. Subside still sell last seasons shirts for around £40.
  13. Its a bit steeper than that. The 2011 shirt (the 'Harry Hill') was £45 (from Scottish Football Direct aka Greaves) The 2013 shirt (with silver badge) was £52 (from JD) The 2015 white sleeved shirt was £55 (from JD) This one is £60. I make that £15 in 6 years. But who's counting Still, at least that's cheaper than the strips on the actual Adidas website, which go for £69 a pop.
  14. How much for name and number on the back?
  15. Look like its going to be quite a clean plain design with the stripes will be down the sides anyway. Should be a leak in the next couple of days.
  16. http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/10/fake-this-is-not-adidas-scotland-2018-home-kit.html
  17. Maybe not for the home kit, but wouldn't be surprised to see the '90s Arsenal away design used for our new away kit.
  18. I forgot his parents were Scottish. Fair enough. Still think he would have one eye on an English club job, and if one of the criticisms of Strachan is that he favoured English Championship players over SPL players, I don't see Allardyce being any different.
  19. Nope. Because when we qualify for the first time since 1998 I don't want an Englishman at the helm. Plus, if he got a few good results he'd bugger off to manage someone like Bolton as soon as there was a sniff of interest.
  20. 1988 seems to be the key year that Adidas are taking their designs from. http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/10/russia-2018-world-cup-kit.html Obviously we weren't with Adidas then, but an away kit like the 1990 WC one would be welcome.
  21. The deal runs out in 2018. After the World Cup.
  22. Looks like there's a move away from the simple designs, even by Nike. Our new kit may use a template but it will probably have some bespoke element, but can' see it being tartan again. This is Germany's 1990 inspired shirthttp://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/06/germany-2018-world-cup-home-kit.html I think the contract will run out after the World Cup. England's and France's run out then as well so could be some swapping of teams done then.
  23. I know that that German shirt will feature the same design as their 1990 shirt with the 3 bands across the chest. Adidas have also done a retro range of 80s Man Utd stuff, but I guess we don't have the back catalogue of designs with Adidas that some other teams have. I agree that they could have put out a bit more basic gear such as a Scotland superstar jacket of one of their California retro t-shirts. Also agree that adidas have generally given us good kits (but still not convinced on the neon pink) Those concept shirts look cracking btw. Agree that a red away shirt would be a good move, we've not had a proper red shirt since the '82 away?
  24. I don't know why the SFA keep missing a trick with retro stuff. First TOFFS lost the licence and then Score Draw. The only retro with the official badge is a couple of shirts from JD Sports. Tottenham are with Nike but still have official retro shirts with Umbro and Admiral branding, so it can't be that difficult to sort out. A plain Adidas '67 style long sleeve cotton retro with 3 stripes down the sleeves and a massive Scotland badge would do me fine.
  25. Yes, sorry. The away kit. Home kit is usually November. The SFA usually unveil it at an event for Supporters Club members. Goes on sale very soon after. At least that's the way its gone the past few years. Just reading that post above regarding Macron, the new Scotland rugby shirt looks pretty decent with that granddad collar.
