Was some trouble on the Wednesday and Thursday night on the main strip in new town. 2 groups of irish fans were on opposite sides of the road singing songs and more people gathered spreading out onto the road A car tried to pass and couldn't. The cops seen this and called in backup and baton charged the fans. They forced people to delete any videos that were recorded and we're very heavy handed I know several people who were hit and they wouldn't be the type to cause trouble

Lol the fai would never be that smart, we were told the allocation in an email we received on the new fans direct setup which is a points system used to allocate tickets to independent fans. If what a morning laugh look it up lolCan see either fai or sfa getting as many tickets as they want, Gibraltar have a small home support so worst cones to it can but them tickets online *edit just see tickets available for the Scottish end on that link now in the upper tier similar to what is on sale for our game in September

Hi just to let yous know if it's the same tweet I've seen on the Facebook page that isn't the offical page for the Gibraltar fa. They are taking the info directly from the tickets on sale on the website ATM, we received email from fai yesterday telling us we have been allocated 9800 tickets for the game against Gibraltar Also just to let yous know the stands behind the goals haven't been open for any of the gibraltar games to date and I believe that is down to security issues I.e they don't have enough security for these areas. They may decide to open them for your game as yous will bring by far the biggest travelling support over

Donegal-lad replied to Goozay's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Must say the disabled facilities in rest of the stadium are top standard however often did wonder what be like in the away end for a disabled fan. -
That's what you always hear over here from touts "anyone selling tickets" or "any spare tickets" know a few touts were asking for around €150 a tickets and apparently were getting it no bother

Donegal-lad replied to Debian's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Lads if they were kids tickets the light on turnstiles turns a different colour and gives out a different sound. The turnstiles are automatic but will be someone near them to check tickets etc -
Needaticket.ie For Those Who Ordered Tickets
Donegal-lad replied to ParisInAKilt's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Sounds to me like the school boys ticket fai sell for clubs to take group of underage kids to games. Thats a serious markup they had on them -
Would say in certain places in Dublin that would probably work ????
-
Mam from the irish daily star contacting me later. He's interested in covering the story as well ?
-
Murrays is decent spot to watch the game if unlucky not to have a ticket. They be showing it on their big screen in the beer garden
-
I hope so otherwise il be badly outnumbered ? unfortunately a good few of the people from the group live outside of Dublin so won't be able to make Friday
-

Fai Saying No Scotland Fan In The Home End
Donegal-lad replied to ParisInAKilt's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Guys the company is a tout site they need to get the tickets 1st before selling them. Often sites like this sell tickets before they have them in hand and I feel this is what's happened here. The demand for tickets has been huge so they wouldn't of got as many as they thought they would I'd call their bluff and turn up at the office looking for tickets. They have some explaining to do if didn't have enough tickets -
Just a few minutes away from Lifford on the Tyrone boarder.

Fai Saying No Scotland Fan In The Home End
Donegal-lad replied to ParisInAKilt's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Sounds to me that needaticket.Ie sold tickets thinking they could secure them easily. Now they weren't able to get as many as they needed and trying to put scots off Have said it numerous times we have had away fans in the home end in the aviva and has been no issues so be surprised if there is any on Saturday -
The irish daily mirror have said that they will cover this story for us. Hoping to get a few more media people involved in it as well. Of anyone knows of any Scottish media they think would cover it can let me know

Murrays is at the top of oconnell street lad. What time do you get into Dublin at as I'm going to the ybig event as well. That one of the reasons we went with 5pm so it wouldn't clash with the ybig event. Either way it's about 5 minute taxi journey with light traffic or be about 15-20 minute walk. Can't miss murrays it's at top of oconnell street
-
Guys can confirm this is going ahead at 5pm.still waiting on word about the private area but we be grand without 1. Everyone is welcome and if any pipers want to come along even better. Hopefully can get a good mix of fans at it

Any Questions For Your Trip To Dublin?
Donegal-lad replied to Irishandproud's topic in Republic of Ireland v Scotland
Temple bar is decent for a visit and a few pints if you never been in it before but if it's clubbing you looking for then harcourt street is the place for you. Still not the cheapest place but better than temple bar and has night clubs to suit everyone's tastes plus majority of places on the street opened late so around 4am closing -
Hi guys incase some of you haven't seen it on the TAMB Facebook page il put it on here as well. I've been in touch with both Nathan and Conor's families about making the presentation to them of the flags we have arranged The plan is for this to hapoen on Friday evening (around 5 o'clock) in murrays bar.
