not true at at all, i'm 34 never been to a tournament, ever since i was 16 i've been dreaming of going a way with a heap of mates for a tour round a foreign country supporting and watching scotland, that window is getting smaller and smaller so the thought of getting the train through to glasgow from edinburgh a few pints in town and then going to hampden doesnt really appeal as an alternative to be honest, it would be more like a huge kick in the teeth.

international tournamants are hosted, like the olympics, the world cup, the confederations cup, the copa america, the list goes on. it wouldnt feel any different to going to an away qualification match where there is something still at stake as for playing a game at hampden after qualifying that would be the last place i would want to play a game.

exactly my thoughts what a complete load of shite it is having it spread out, a complete non event knowing our luck it will be the next and last tournament we qualify.

im a hibs fan but we need to be realistic here, mcginn is outstanding in a lower league in a country that has a pretty poor standard of football at the moment, its unlikely an EPL club would be looking at him, he also has 4.5 years left on his contract at hibs who wont be letting him go on the cheap if lower league english clubs try and poach him, he wont be going to rangers as his grandfather was celtic's chairman and i think the celtic fans would combust this season if they signed another scottish football player with their glaring inadaquicies in european football. my guess would be hibs for this season and next then in to replace brown at celtic

the only players out of that team that have a good chance of getting into the full team in the next couple of years are mcginn and paterson, if griffiths can barely get a sniff then there's not a great deal of hope for cummings unfortuantely with the current system
