  1. Rob not got a clue what you are on about unless you mean sad and not Dad, for one moment i thought the CSA would be knocking on my door again IMO Glitter should be used for experiments instead of using Monkeys and Rats
  2. Do you not think he was guilty before the jury found him guilty because it was Glitter and everyone knew his past. i have never agreed by having a jury of 12 normal folk having to take all the info in and then having the responsibility of finding then guilty or not guilty, most people including me could be swayed with certain stats that either side throw at them' I remember a few years ago the female soiicitor being found guilty of murdering her two children who had both died of cot death. Some prosecution guy said the odds of this happening to two children in the same family were 1 in some silly number a billion or so and the jury passed judgement on that figure, she was later found not guilty on appeal and committed suicide a few years later..
  3. Agree now that's proper under floor heating. Regarding having a break in Scotland i go and stay in the Glenbeag cottages in the Spittal Of Glenshee a couple of miles from the ski resort. Total chill out time with the nearest shop being in Breamar about 15 miles away.
  4. I Love the TAMB I made the original post and just wanted to highlight the fact we played in a country a few years ago, and now that country is at war. I now think we need a UN Observer to take over this thread.
  5. Taken from BBC news Frank Sinclair, a black footballer who played for Chelsea more than 150 times, said the men in the video had nothing to do with his former club. "They tend to move from club to club, they drift and they look at an opportunity where they might have got tickets on the black market, decided to go to this game to cause problems," he said. "Certainly, they're not represented by Chelsea Football Club."
  6. The guy at the front with the John Travolta jacket on looks like John Terry
  7. Scotty actually talks the talk ans walks the walk and gets a large amount of abuse for doing so. Many on here who give him stick are also the ones that may get married in a church and the ones who will sit in a church and bow their heads and maybe put their hands together when attending a funeral etc, may even join in on a hymn or two. And in very sad occasions when some will have a close relative close to deaths door, they may cry out and ask for Gods help. Is that not just using the church out of desperation when it suits. I do get a bit baffled amount the number 11 Scotty quotes a wee bit, i don't know the importance of that number besides wearing it on my back when i played on the wing in rugby union. .
  8. Buzz Send us a PM with your address on it, when you get the bunga put it under your floorboards, me and Kens diddymen will come along and get rid of it for you at no cost
  9. I think my team generate about £2.3 million in gate receipts per game so including a few cup games at home maybe about 50 million + champions league games whatever they are over the season, obviosley the bigger grounds generate a bit more. In the new package the lowest EPL team will get 99 million and the champions 157 million. Should wait for the ink to dry on the new contract then every footy fan should pull the plug on Sky would love to see Murdoch on his arse. I know it won't happen but we can dream.
  10. Listening to Radio 5 on my way to work and was gobsmacked on a few stats Burnley are richer than Ajax At present all the 20 EPL sides are in the Top 40 of the richest clubs either in the world or just in europe not quite sure what they actually quoted, with the new package only Barca and Real Madrid will generate more money in a season than the team bottom of the EPL.
  11. Five and half thousand people have now died in the ongoing war in Ukraine. Just think it was only a few years ago we were partying in Kiev, how times have changed.
  12. He is still recovering from his injuries he sustained 6 weeks ago and in that time he wont have had time to sort out his demons, this process takes much longer. And now he and as you claim speaking out will help others, in a while then maybe but he needs to sort his own issues first. You don't get alcoholics still on the drink telling others alcohol is bad and addictive, you don't get a gambler putting his wages in a fruit machine then telling others gambling is bad for you and others will sit up and take their advice, how can you take their advice when they are unable to sort out their own problems. Some do take notice of public figures when they speak up, but in this case why take notice of Carlisle when he is not yet sorted himself out and telling the world he was at a low and decided to end it by jumping in front of a lorry. If anything it is promoting the way out as he put it, maybe it will catch on using lorries instead of trains, it will certainly help some of us in the rail industry who don't have to go out and see the results of when someone sadly jumps in front of a train. Normalising depression as you put it, if he had a set he should be working with the mental health experts and groups like the samaritans if he wants to assist others, but not till he has helped himself. Leave the MOPE out of it i don.t get personal with you and yes i do take offence of being called that. You don't know me so you should stop trying to be some kind of keyboard bully because it wont work. .
  13. Why are you some shrink and an expert on mental health issues, or is it that everything i write you don't agree with for the sake of it. I am not really arsed what you think i am giving the TAMB my opinion if that's OK with you. . .
  14. Clark Carlisle or Mr ME ME, now telling the world he wanted to end it by jumping in front of a lorry. Well Clark you need to deal with your demons and get yourself sorted out. Telling the world wont help you or anyone else with similar problems, many people have problems and i know i have been called out to many fatalities on the railway and it;s not a nice scene. Or is it because Mr NIce Guy was drinking and driving and his street cred would have gone down so wanted to top himself. I have a lot of time for people with mental health issues and Clarke like everyone else should seek help and hopefully all make a full recovery, but going to the media when not fully recovered is just a feel sorry for me story.
  15. See Jordan have returned the favour and taken out the two I.S hostages. Maybe if I.S start butchering a few more hostages from countries not present in the was against I.S, then the more countries that can join together and blitz the scum off the face of the earth the better
