  1. He could appear in a bubble, like the signing for the deaf guy, chortling away....
  2. Don't like the idea of these debates anyway, we're electing a party not a president. If they have to happen, broadcast them regionally featuring a selection of local candidates, these are the people we will be voting for after all...
  3. Never heard of him before, but if this list's to be believed he's a generous man... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_English_football_club_owners
  4. That's shaping up to be a storming group. Throw in Latvia and Khazakstan too, not exactly pushovers....
  5. Could this be the tournament Iceland finally qualify for?...
  6. Agreed all parties should be involved or they shouldn't be screened in Scotland at prime time. Even worse in Northern Ireland they can't vote for any of them!
  7. Apologies, couldn't resist Aye he was good. Excellent vision and quick feet, you can see why Real Madrid had their eyes on him all those years ago. However he lacks a bit in the physical department and when it comes to actually getting the ball on target...
  8. It was interesting when they brought it back for a bit, but it's definitely a case of over exposure. I don't think I've watched it since David Tennant was the Doc. My mate's an old Dr Who buff who rages at the current shows but my answer to him is it's essentially kids tv and he remembers it being better in the 70s because he was a kid then, simple as that.
  9. Is that not normally the case at Hampden? I'm sure it used to be anyway. Problem is the lunatic pricing structure this time encouraged fans to buy seats in the lowest price band, which corresponded with the family section tickets...
  10. True. How many Scottish centre halves are regular starters in the SPFL Premiership? Changed days...
  11. That's a blow having Hanley out, stretched enough as it is at centre back...
  12. There is... https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/european-championship-2016-qualifier-highlights
  13. It was a football song long before it was a national anthem...
  14. Report and slideshow from the Herald... http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/rally-6000-attend-pro-independence-hope-over-fear-event-in-george-square.1413122724
  15. No, although to be fair he's only played them once...
  16. Funnily enough they split up a couple of months later...
  17. Did you put a sticker on his back when you patted him? Interesting article for this thread from Hugh MacDonald... http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/yes-is-the-cry-as-we-head-for-poles.25568699
  18. Certainly the two kings never got the chance to play Gibraltar, but they did score nearly a third of their goals againt Wales and Northern Ireland...
  19. His hat-trick last night makes him the top goalscorer in the history of the European Championship. 65 international goals, more then Dalglish and Law combined (and in less games too). An astonishing haul!
  20. Bit different from the usual home game experience. Few pints in the Bull in Paisley, taxi to Ibrox, mini crawl after the game (Park Bar, Kensington, Bellrock (Doctors)), tube from Kinning Park to St Enoch, few jars and some food in Sloans, last train hame. Great wee day, oh and we won too
  21. It already is. At least the megabucks would be spread around Europe a bit more...
  22. Really poor show hearing stuff like that going on in the family section. Stewarding must've been lax, the pitch invader at the goal was a bit of a laugh, but how often do you see that happen without the protagonist being promptly huckled away?...
