  1. With us running out of fullbacks, we surely should call him up. But that would just be far too sensible.
  2. I'd rather see how he copes after a good run in the Championship. And in any event we have younger midfielders to consider and who should be prioritised. Fleck is well down the list.
  3. Craig Gordon used to concede rather a lot when he was Sunderland. Take a look at the players in front of him, don't always blame the goalie.
  4. Bet Strachan sends him down to the Under 21s.
  5. Quite enjoyed watching City Lights on youtube recently. Apparently it's never been available on VHS or DVD. Any reason why ?
  6. That is ridiculous. As I've posted a hundred times before, I come from a mixed family and my own father and grandfather are Rangers fans. I've also strongly criticised Celtic and their fans plenty of times in the past as my post history shows. "hating someone solely because of their political opinions is certainly bigoted" - Well i don't like fascists. Is that wrong ? If you don't like my posts aaid, just click the ignore option. Drop your obsession with trying to goad me into a slagging match. I'm not rising to it. Resorting to calling people mentally ill is fine in your book ? I will continue to criticise the new club in Ibrox, the fervent anti-Catholic and anti-Irish prejudice that continues to exist amongst some of the support. Nor will I stop bringing up the shameful history of "our brave boys" have around the globe from Cork to Batang Kali.
  7. Bluegaz lives in a very sad little world. Any criticism of Rangurz, her majesty and "our brave boys" makes one a bigot. C'est la vie Not surprise to see aaid continuing his strange obsession with me. It must really frustrate him that his near daily attempts to insult me don't result in the threatening, aggressive blow up he's clearly hoping for. Hating a religion, other peoples skin colour, nationality or race is bigotry - dislike of a recently established football team is not. Rangers, their players, fans, the defunct clubs history, the actions of the new club, their culture and traditions should be open to criticism by anyone.
  8. Anyone who dares to question Rangers in anyway, criticise their fans behaviour, criticise their sacred history, "club culture and traditions" is automatically an IRA loving, treasonous timmy bigot and an agent of the Vatican. Didn't you get the memo ?
  9. Aye, the armed forces day trash at Ibrox has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with "getting it up the Tims" right enough .............. It must be so hard being a Rangers fan right now. What with the persecution they all have to face daily, it's terrible.
  10. Aye. Remember circa 2007 - the Daily Record claiming every couple of weeks that an announcement of Steven Fletcher's transfer to Real Madrid "is imminent" and "we understand that a fee has been agreed between Hibs and the Spanish giants" Or the press demanding that Burley pick John Fleck and put him in the starting line up against the Dutch in 2009 - because he scored a penalty against Dundeee Utd. Noticed that "the Scottish Rooney" was playing for Sheffield Utd in the English 3rd tier yesterday. Dear oh dear.
  11. McCormack off the bench for Villa. Greg Stewart on the bench for City. Che Adams that's playing up front for them is supposedly eligible to play for Scotland.
  12. The players could do themselves (and us) a favour and actually start taking shots at goal from a distance greater than three yards. Other teams love playing against us because we always try for tap ins. It's stupid.
  13. Do you really think it's clever to call other people "fked up / brainwashed / mentally ill", "psychotic" or a "retard" ?
  14. BlueGaz and Renfrewblue channelling their inner Daily Mail reader at the slightest criticism of the Gers and Mrs Windsors military
  15. What better way to pay tribute to millions of Catholics who fought and died in the British and Commonwealth forces in both world wars than to have a big old fashioned true blue proddy sash bash at Ibrox ? "Makes ye pure dead proud to be British byraway .............."
  16. Sums it up perfectly for me. Sorry, but the old guard all have to go. Time to say goodbye to old favourites like Fletcher, Hutton, Naismith etc. Concerned about that too. I've got a really nasty feeling Strachan will drop Burke to the Under 21s.
  17. Fraser on the bench for Bournemouth. Rhodes on the bench for Boro. Fletcher starts for West Brom. Morrison on the bench. Marshall in goal for Hull. Maloney on the bench. Steven MacLean scores for St Johnstone (now, just who will bite ?)
  18. Their appointment of the imbecile Alex Rae to manage the under 19 squad really is scraping the bottom of the barrel by the SFA.
  19. Following on from yesterday's posts about Sadowitz and the lack of material online. I found a stream of his "Total Abuse Show" stand up. First time I've ever seen footage of him. Pretty good. Didn't think I would enjoy the magic tricks but he blends them into the act very well. Dundee gets it in the neck again
  20. Was she a Scot or one of the locals ? Just before the wedding, A mate of mine got in trouble on the train when an auld boy overheard him making a joke about Wullie Windsor and Kate. The auld yin was red faced and totally fecking furious shouting "Ah'll huv ye know that's oor future king yir talking about there son !". We just laughed and he got off at Williamwood, still raging. He's probably dead now.
  21. Apart from that episode of Rab C Nesbit he has a cameo in, all I could find of Sadowitz on youtube is a brief clip of him from the eighties discussing Jimmy Saville. I'd be interested to see his shows "The Pall Bearer's Revue" and "The People vs. Jerry Sadowitz" both of which were supposed to be "unique" viewing experiences ! Read this on his wikipedia page:
  22. Heard he was really good "back in the day". There's hardly any of his act online anywhere, apparently he always gets online footage or audio of his acts taken down very quickly. Sadowitz concentrates more on performing conjuring tricks these days doesn't he ?
  23. Waking up everyday and knowing I'm not a Rangers fan does make me very jolly indeed.
