  1. I had the mispleasure of attending our last game at Ibrox and endured the pies, coins and lighters being fired in our direction by the big brave boys of the Blue Order. Great banter it was. Especially when the young family in front of me left at half time as they didn't feel safe. We also have the pleasure of their company in a couple of weeks time at the Rock. Certainly won't be taking my daughter to that one. In half a mind whether or not to attend myself but would be sorry to miss the meltdown if our £100 a week players do take something from them.
  2. How ridiculous is that that I'm disappointed to get Rangers at home?!! We'll make very little out of it due to ground size and best we can hope for is TV money. Just not worth the hassle.
  3. Having just moved house and taken out Sky, the sales person was gobsmacked that I had no interest in Sky Sports. Have never been a great tv football fan anyway but the cost of Sky just wasn't worth it given that 99.9% of the games wouldn't interest me. I'm old enough to remember when televisied games were a rarity. Bascially the two cup finals and the odd Scotland game. The Liverpool - Arsenal 'Michael Thomas' game still stands out in my memory!
  4. Friends and Family railcard is worth its weight in gold for trips down south. Costs about £30 but you can get train tickets for a third of normal price with it.
  5. Genuinely think that's it for at least a generation or possibly more. We can have as many referendums as we like but at the end of the day, nearly 2 million people said no. There is no demand for another one just because the result wasn't what we wanted. I appreciate an optimist would point to the 45% gained despite an onslaught of political and media pressure. But I fear that's going to be our high water mark for a long time to come.
  6. The way I am at the moment I've probably finished with Scotland trips and games. Had a great laugh over the last 11 years with 25+ visits but see little point now. Home or away. Try and do a few weekend trips away to Europe with the Mrs instead now.
  7. On a more positive note, how about a list of the good c**ts? Weegies, Juties, Sons of the Rock, Bankies, Buckfast swilling North Lanarkshire folk - all good c**ts. Andy Murray - good c**t Martin Compston - good c**t Michael Stewart - good c**t Christopher Brookmyre - good c**t Martin Gilbert - good c**t Plenty more.
  8. YES Dundee already confirmed that all was above board. THe bundles hadn't been allocated to the various table at that point and they were happy there was no fraud.
  9. Genuinely embarrassed and sickened. Watched the returns being made through the night with growing horror. Up for work in 10 mins and utterly furious. Simple fact is we're 90 minute Patriots only. And don't let anyone fool you that was just the grey vote that sneaked it. Huge majorities across all areas suggest otherwise. The right to Self determination, an end to trident and a proper place in Europe all gone. Instead we'll have a Boris and Farage coalition running things next election. And given that we've voted to be North Britain rather than a independent nation then hell mend us.
  10. Being charitable I even gave it a listen. It's gash. To think, that as a band, they've produced some cracking albums and tunes (admittidly not for a few years mind) but this is just over produced soft rock mince.
  11. Keith Jackson will be forever tainted with the "off the radar" comment but at least he appears to be trying to push a story rather than just regurgitate the Super Ally angle.
  12. This. It's a stones throw from the office and perfect for a quick lunchtime drink and/or pizza. It's a wee touch dearer for pints but not shockingly so and they do prosecco on tap. Some of the bottles of beer are a wee bit OTT price wise though. £4.50 for a bottle of St Mungo! Staff are pleasant, and as Mr Humper states, you don't get the riff raff. Actually take my 9 year old son with me for lunch if we are in town on Saturdays.
