  1. Naismith is about as welcome at Ibrox these days as McGeady would be!
  2. Sure, playing the game at Parkhead might make some of the Irish fans who follow Celtic as their club side and some of their players such as McGeady and ehm...Keane feel a bit more at home and a bit more comfortable than they would at Hampden or Ibrox but surely the fact that we'll have approximately 54,000 fans there outnumbering them approx 9-1 massively outweighs this. The notion that this "is like a home game for Ireland" is fecking ludicrous.
  3. Singing sectarian songs is much, much worse than defacing a stadium with stickers and the 2 are in no way comparable, no argument from me on that. Defacing a stadium with stickers is still the work of either a neddy wean or a tadger though.
  4. Apparently former Birmingham and Coventry striker Dele Adebola had to take to his Twitter account to assure his followers that he hadn't contracted Ebola....... Sadly, this isn't actually a joke...... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/ebola-crisis-former-birmingham-city-striker-dele-adebola-reassures-fans-he-does-not-have-ebola-9788418.html
  5. He actually played quite well there on the few occasions he was centre half for Rangers.
  6. As did you by the sounds of it by defacing the stadium. Very grown up. The only thing I heard was one guy in the row in front of me who started singing "stand up if you voted Yes" but only got about 2 lines in and stopped when no one joined in. Was a bit pointless anyway as the whole stand was standing up as far as I could see!
  7. Ah, Cathro doesn't mean what I think it did then!
  8. Oh good, Phill 3 names. The bastion of impartial journalism. He's even more obsessed with "The Rangers" than Scotty! He could also do with getting someone to proof read his blog once in a while.
  9. This has very possibly been covered in here recently but just read this article but Ian Cathro. It's quite a story! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29463560
  10. And realise she was punching well above her weight all along!
  11. It went through in January after being offered the previous September. I'm not sure how long it was for though.
  12. Broadfoot is 30. I wouldn't really class him as youngish.
  13. And then when you do see them you realise they've put on a bit of weight and lowered their standards with their new partner and you're fecking delighted!
  14. Not something I'd normally say but Spiers wrote an excellent article about McCoist earlier in the week. Something along the lines of McCoist is definitely a fun guy to be around and no one can doubt that he knows football, just that he has no ability as a manager. Pretty much sums it up for me. He'd be a great assistant manager/coach when working with someone that knows what they're doing (see Walter Smith) but he's not the man for the top job.
  15. I take offence to that. Those people don't represent me or any of my beliefs.
  16. We've reached our Steven quota with the 3 forwards and Whittaker. UEFA rules stipulate only 4 players with the same name (First or last) are allowed to be selected in the one squad....
  17. I reckon I'm done with gambling for a bit. Had a coupon in midweek and was only waiting on Hull holding out against West Brom for a decent return. Hull were 2-1 up with 2 minutes to go and lost 3-2. On Saturday I had a 4 timer on. 3 out of 4 were up and when Dundee got a late equaliser at Ross County I was in the money. County got a last minute winner. And on Sunday I picked out a 6 timer in the singles at the Ryder Cup. 5 out of 6 came in and I only needed Duboisson to halve the last hole to win 1 up. He lost the hole to go all square and cost me a good bit!! There's nae luck and then there's nae luck!! That's probably about £600 of winnings all scuppered with more or less the last kick/putt of the ball!
  18. If Rangers keep playing the way they did last night, and there's nothing to suggest it was a one off, then it doesn't matter how consistent Hearts are, they'll still skoosh the league.
  19. Scotty, you do know there's loads of porn on the internet? You don't have to keep w@nking over "The Rangers" goings on!
