  1. I'm just off to Southampton-Walsall in the FA Cup. Team news... I assumed Adams would get a starting place - against Walsall - but he doesn't. Fraser gets a start. Adams is on the bench. Armstrong is also on the bench, but he starts most league games, so that's just case of being rested.
  2. Back in the day, we had a pass of some sort for France 98 and we were all over the place. We saw a total of 8 matches in Paris, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and Saint Etienne (twice) but match tickets were relatively cheap back then. Those days are long gone. For Euro 2024, it'll be Scotland-only matches for me.
  3. ScotBeam, To my mind, an interrail trip would be something that would take in numerous countries. Not just crossing a border or two. Have you looked at one-way prices on the Deutsche Bahn website fo P.S. you can book EVERYTHING through Deutsche Bahn website or app - Even your Prague journey. I bought Zurich to Munich for 31 Euros... Munich to Cologne for 37 Euros... Cologne to Stuttgart for 64 Euros. I could have got that last one for half the price, but that train suited us best. So, as you can see, there are bargains to be had without waiting for 17th January. Right now, you can get Prague to Munich on 13th June for 48 Euros direct and 32 Euros indirect. And you can get Stuttgart to Zurich on 24th June for 26 Euros. I'm in agreement with what Toepoke and Runningtings said and just getting on with it. As for the Euro 2024 Pass. Is it worth waiting for? Unless you plan to be zipping all over Germany?
  4. Nae problem Chief. Thanks for spotting it. I made a mistake, but you were on hand to put it right πŸ‘
  5. ScotBeamSquad, How many long distance train journeys are you planning? I'd just get on and book tickets now - Unless you plan to zip all over Germany; visiting umpteen different cities. If you have tickets for the 3 group matches, that's only 2 trains. Munich-Cologne and Cologne-Stuttgart.
  6. You are absolutely correct. I f*cked up. I had it all written down correctly, but when I posted on here I accidently listed 1st 2nd and 3rd positions as 1st 2nd and 3rd of July That said, I was correct in saying the 2nd round doesn't start until the weekend AFTER Stuttgart/Hungary (there are no matches during 'the working week' following the Hungary match). From UEFA.com...
  7. It'll be fine. We were in Mannheim for the Scotland B match about 20 years ago and had a good night. Population 300'000 so it's a fairly big city. Just do some homework on where's good to go.
  8. The 2nd round STARTS the weekend after Stuttgart/Hungary. For us, I believe it would be one of these... 1 JULY - DORTMUND 2 JULY - BERLIN 3 JULY - COLOGNE, FRANKFURT or MUNICH After Stuttgart/Hungary, how are you's gonna play it?
  9. This was on TV over Christmas. Felt quite emotional watching it; thinking ahead to June n that.
  10. Book the seat when it prompts you. But if you miss it (like I did on my 2nd train booking) you can still reserve your seat separately. Alternatively, don't bother and just head for the buffet car.
  11. Valerie Leon ❀️❀️❀️ One of my all time favourites; has been ever since I saw her in the tent shop in Carry on Camping.
  12. GOAL - Ryan Fraser "Beautiful" according to commentator on BBC Radio Solent.

You say that, but presumably those manufacturers paid the SFA more than anyone else at the time.
  14. I woke up this morning to an email from BA informing me that they have cancelled the 06:45 Heathrow-Zurich flight on 13th June. My train from Zurich Airport to Munich is already bought and paid for. Happy-Fucking-Christmas to you too British Airways.
  15. Neglected to reserve a seat at time of booking?? Add it here >>> https://int.bahn.de/en/offers/seat-reservation/seat-reservation-long-distance-services
  16. Well, I didn't think I had done anything differently, but maybe.
  17. Following on from the above, I have now booked my second train (Munich to Koln) but my ticket does NOT show a carriage or seat number. Both booked with DB... My first train ticket does, but my second train ticket does not. I've fired off an email to DB and will let you know what they come back with.
  18. Have you checked your email? I received email from Deutsche Bahn with ticket attached.
  19. If you have the time, you should visit the Olimpiastadion. It's quite something, but I haven't been there for 23 years. In my experience, I would put it in my top three... San Siro, Allianz Munich and Olimpiastadion Munich. Berlin Olimpiastadion might scrape in, but only maybe. Nou Camp? No chance.
  20. Have you received an email with an attachment? The ticket. It should say sitzplatz followed by WG number, which I presume to mean wagon number i.e. carriage number. Then PL number, which I presume to be place (seat) number. On my ticket, all of this is located on the right hand side; half way down. Of course, you can always set up camp in the buffet car 🍺🍺🍺
  21. Visit the Olimpiastadion... https://www.olympiapark.de/de/Attraktionen und Gastronomie/Sightseeing/Besichtigung Olympiastadion P.S. don't forget a visit to 1860 Munchen too. They play at the Grunwalder Stadion.
