Really there should never needed to be a second draw to see which Semi Final Winner would get the Final at home, it should just have been the winner of the first match drawn, and that was Scotland v Ukraine. The second draw was just for a bit more drama. Ok if we beat Ukraine we will have a lousy allocation for Cardiff, but what’s happening with the gate receipts etc from this match, surely it’s not all going in Wales coffers.

“If” the Play Off Final is to be Tuesday 7th June we should play Ukraine on Friday 3rd June the same day Wales / Austria also have Nations League matches, that then gives us all four days between matches.

Change the order of Fixtures in our Nations League Group 4/6 Scotland v Ukraine World Cup 4/6 Ireland v Armenia N L 7/6 Scotland v Armenia N L 7/6 Ukraine v Ireland N L 11/6 Ireland v Scotland NL 11/6 Ukraine v Armenia NL 13/6 Postpone Netherlands v Wales NL if required 13/6 Postpone Denmark v Austria NL if required 14/6 Play Wales or Austria v Scotland or Ukraine World Cup That still gets 5 / 8 of our Nations League Matches played Either Wales or Austria Nations League group would be effected and only one match behind schedule Ukraine can play two "home" NL matches in England and be based in UK for a week Armenia can base themselves in UK / Ireland for a week

I think the Ukraine Pay Off Match will move, which nobody can really argue with, i’d Imagine the powers that be are chewing over the various permutations and possible Nations League re-schedules. Being a bit selfish I hope they don’t move the fixture in Dublin, and hope the SFA realise how many and cost already invested in that one.

I think on balance we’ve done ok to be in with the other 3, Ukraine Wales Austria, was hoping for the potential final to have been home too, but just have to get on with it. As I said earlier all 6 home teams won’t win all 6 Semi Finals, there will be a couple of away winners somewhere. The bookies will make a fortune on these matches as they are nearly all too hard to predict. I wouldn’t hazard a guess at who might win between Wales and Austria, but I’ve booked a hotel in both as I hope we get through a tough tie against Ukraine

That scenario can't happen as both Sweden and Wales are seeds, but know what your saying we'd take a Sweden or Wales at home in the Final should we get there. My slant on it Semi at Hampden : Really any of them. Folks fear of Czechs don't quite get, we missed great chances in Euro match and lost a crazy goal. Final if Home : Any of them although hopefully not Italy or Portugal. Final if Away : Just have to get on with it. Remember you can spin this out to Penalties and were ok at them. Also mind, not all 6 seeds will win the home Semi Finals, there will be some away winners there too. Wish the draw was today and not next Friday

It’s quite funny to read everyone’s opinions and wishes for the Semi and hopefully Final, and looking forward to actual football matches. As opposed to the usual where would be good to go for a few days on the piss whilst going to see Scotland, although there’s nothing wrong with that either. No, there’s a draw to see which of the Semi Final ties get the final match. Just like Nations League was Scotland v Israel Norway v Serbia Draw was made and we knew if we beat Israel we’d be going to Norway or Serbia for the Final game.

My 1-3 seeding was wishful thinking, will be interesting to see if there is any changes to the draw plan. There’s the obvious one where Russia and Ukraine don’t meet so that will need to be accounted for. Scotland v North Macedonia Wales v Austria Then Scotland v Either Wales or Austria would be as good as it gets, but I think a Portugal or Italy away will be our potential final. After last night two games at Hampden are winnable against any of the other eleven teams. One one thing for certain the Semi Final tickets won’t be £20

FThe FIFA site states the seeds 1-6 will be drawn in three pathways against non seeds 1-6 I think it be best to keep seeds 1, 2 and 3 in separate pathways. That keeps Portugal and Italy apart and these two would safe from losing to Scotland too.

The game tomorrow is exactly what we can expect in the Semi and Final should we get there. We’re going to have to beat the likes of a Denmark if we want to get to a World Cup Finals, so we better get used to it, as that’s the level we are hoping to reach. In the next hour we all become Spain fans in the hope that it helps us Regards seeding, what a change from the last game of campaign deciding whether we finish 3rd 4th or 5th in a group. As for the game, I think we can at least get a draw, maybe sneak a win. After the horrendous start in the away fixture and going 2-0 down we played ok, admittedly Denmark had done the job.

The crazy irony of that would be Sweden could have a negative away goal difference of -2. 4 For 6 Against. We are level away from home on counting matches 3 For 3 Against If they are going to the length of away goals to decide things it should be the difference first before the goals scored.

I’ve been watching the Play Off scenario developing since the September fixtures and who could be seeded or not. Interestingly 4 of the 6 seeds will likely come from the 5 smaller sections ( Five team sections where you don’t drop your score against the bottom team) I think there has to have been a bit advantage in playing 8 games not 10 from the rest days and bookings position. As for the remaining fixtures, I think we are capable of getting a better result against Denmark than Wales against Belgium. I’d still play our strongest side including players on one booking, some will get booked and miss the Semi, but that’s fitba, thats the chance we need to take if we hope to get a result and be seeded. I think it will be a great night and we’ll move back into a seeded place pending what happens on Tuesday

I’ve looked at this potential Play Off situation too much these last few days and if we get the required results whether we’re seeded or not, to date the results have been good albeit narrow wins, late goals, our first experiences of VAR working correctly each time in our favour. It all balances itself out and so far we’ve had a few breaks for the first time in a while. I’ve a feeling we’ll qualify for the Playoffs, but be waiting on the Wales Belgium match to see if we are a seed or not. Here’s hoping.
