  1. Theyll need to sort out the asbestosdome first too.
  2. Ra peepul might only have got 9 points from the last 6 gemmes but at least they managed to get a photo opportunity with a loyalist flute band last week and have half the army at the asbestosdome today. Priorities and all that.
  3. I honestly have barely any idea who the guy is. Who hates him? Given the Sevco have spent the last 4 years working their way up to the SPL I'm surprised anyone who's a fan of an SPL team would even know who he is let alone hate him.
  4. Its just the riddy factor of being pumped 7 - 0 by anyone, in saying that Celtic are in good company. Barca beat Depotivo 8 - 0 and Valencia 7 - 0 last season, managed 5 - 0 against 4 or 5 other La Liga teams and I think took 6 off roma. Small crumbs of comfort.
  5. Celtic were poor and showed Barca way too much respect, although lets face it Barca are out of Celtics league. 7 - 0 is a lot more than im comfy with. Only a couple of players performances that i wouldnt criticise whch was Broony Tiernan and O'Connell when he came on. the rest of them want to take a look at themselves. We dont mind being beaten by a superior team but we have to see that our team has put in a good performance. Im not fancying this Doris character atall but in Brendan i trust, for now and im assuming he knows a lot mair than me about football. The CL is the big league and no team from Scotland or any of the other smaller countries are going to be able to compete. Celtic get their money from its large fan base and to us the £30m that we'll evetually earn as a result of gettign into the CL group stages is a big deal, whilst to some of the teams we're playing it wouldnt even pay for one of there players. We need to take what we can from the home gemmes and stop being fanboys of other clubs and put in some decent challenges for the ball instead of hanging back. Maybe we'd have been beat 7 - 0 anyway but its always better to see that youre players are trying and affected by the result.
  6. Always knew we were onto a pumping, 7 - 0 is a bit much but it, what can you do. Celtic weren't at their best, not that it'd have changed the overall result, and Barca are just an immense team, the dirty bastards wouldn't give us the ball hope the boys over there smashed up the Catalunyan lavvies, that'll show them, ####ers. I'm not sure any good can come of this but kinda hoping this is the worst of it!
  7. Im a bit lost, whats not sectarian? Are we still talking about huns? Anyway...
  8. Spot on? Naw, hun carries no sectarian connotations, I think coined by a judge after Rangers rampage through Birmigham in 1972 when he compared them to the Hun. Either that or possibly some lost in history entendre from the first world war. Anyway, Huns can be free to be offended, thats fine as its not exactly intended to be a complimentary thing, this is football rivalry and all that, however it doesnt mean anything other to me than they are followers of Satan. where do you stand on the description Orcs?
  9. Incidentally, nobody on a day to day basis calls Rangers fans Billys. I wouldnt even know what someone was refering to if they called someone a "billy".
  10. Youre a hun in my eyes! No matter how the fans of the new Offended FC (aye, you've really pinched Celtics crown these last few years) go on about it, its not sectarian. The fact it gets on the goat of some huns makes it even better. Why are you asking me if all Celtic fans are Fenians? Now, we probably both know the correct meaning of Fenian, in that it is correctly a term for anyone in the Irish Republican Brotherhood, its now used as a slang term for a Catholic, so tbh i doubt you could apply that to the Celtic support en-masse but its not really for me to answer as I dont and never have referred to myself or the Celtic support as Fenians, Tims is a different matter.
  11. Rangers fans are huns regardless of their religion (I know a couple of Catholics who support Rangers, they are without doubt Huns) so the word is not sectarian.
  12. Yeah, I thought that took it to a whole new level of stupidity. Thankfully it happened way below me in the Jock Stein Stand so I never saw it but seriously, to think sonmeone thought that was a good idea then went out and bought a couple of blow up dolls and some hun scarves..... I love a wind up but this was just not funny and I doubt many huns actually saw it from where they were sitting/ standing/ greeting.
  13. Its crass but not confined to any one set of fans.
  14. Yup, saw the S*n today. apologies to GR Bear. I was in 440 so this happened way below me. I knew it wasnt over at the Gb section or id have seen it. Thats why i thought it didnt happen. Words fail me as to the intelligence of anyone who thinks this is a witty thing to do. disgusting behaviour. I dont buy into it being linked to suicide prevention week or the tragedy that happened with Kris Boyds brother but, jesus, what a thing to do.
  15. Not saying that never happened nor nothing but it never happened yesterday. Can't say I remember that ever happening tbh. Definitely not yesterday though so your point about suicide awareness is kinda not valid.
  16. It was Ormond that has put that theory forward, I don't understand it either, hence the argument.
  17. Ah, bigoted neds playing a non existent Catholic/Jewish card. Are you saying you're not talking about Catholics? I haven't conducted a survey but I'd be willing to bet the majority of the GB are from Glasgow. However, as usual with you, rather than trying to back up the pish statements you make you try to take the argument off on a tangeant. You obviously have no intention of explaining what this Catholic/Jewish card thing is. I've wasted more than enough time bandying words with you Ormond.
  18. The most religious? Another mental statement. You think that would somehow have any influence on some wee guy from Glasgow on what he thinks about the Jewish religion? All I asked for was an explanation, all I got was people telling me how long the Catholic Church has been going for as if that somehow justifies Ormonds nonsense assumption that there exists in Glaswegian Catholics some kind of inbuilt anti semitism.
  19. We are talking about the here and now. The fact that catholicism has existed longer than protestantism is neither here nor there ffs, why would that make the average catholic any more prone to be anti semetic than the average protestant?
