  1. You'll destroy anything i post ? Noah didnt live to over 900 years old and two kangaroos along with other marsupials common only to Australia didnt hop all the way from the middle east and swim to Australia. Now i think weve covered this before, but feel free to destroy that
  2. Fair enough but from what you post you kinda infer that this stuff is going down in the next few years. Now I dont doubt your faith or sincerity I question what appears to be at times a too literal belief in a book of stories full of contradictions (imho, i am aware you disagree) what i want to know is do you think you'll collect on your canadian postie pension or are you bang on 100% certain that Lucifer will put in an appearance in the next few years ? and if he doesnt what then ?
  3. Seeing as satan and associated demons are about to light up their flaming swords and prepare for battle with god and associated angels, should the Scottish independence movement just jack it in and go up the pub ? genuine question.
  4. I agree, someone getting a one way tikka to the other side is nothing to joke about.....
  5. Those pesky yanks are also responsible for people using Z when everyone knows it should be an S !! its bloody annoying ;-)
  6. Whats your opinion on bill gates (apologiesif this has been raised) spending his billions to wipe out malaria seems a nice thing to do? Edit apologies i think you covered it ;-)
  7. Theres a little bit more to it than that though isnt there. I dont doubt the FA isnt very well liked across the globe for a number of reasons but when push comes to shove FIFA wont do it, I think the Scotland team and all the home nations teams are safe for a number of reasons not least because I think the UK is one of the biggest payers for TV rights to the WC and FIFA does love its money.
  8. That will never happen, Scotty CTA being the perfect example, born in Scotland moved away as a boy yet able to vote on a countrys independence that he visits for holidays. That just isnt right IMHO
  9. Genuinely dont know the answer to that but even if the population growth needs lifting it doesn't chage the fact that only the people that live in Scotland should vote on its independence.
  10. I think we shall just have to agree to disagree. Live there, get a vote. Dont live there, dont get a vote. People emigrate for all sorts of reasons but it boils down presumably to wanting a better life. Independence hasnt stopped Ireland from being a country with large emigration so why would Scotland be any different ? It might be who knows but I doubt it, anyway like you say its a moot point.
  11. if it means that much to someone move back and vote, simple.
  12. Heres a thought my intellectual friend, NO. I didnt modify anything ScottyCTa lives in Canada I believe. He can feel as Scottish as he likes, im sure he does but if he is not resident in Scotland he shouldnt get a vote. Im sure a genius like you can get your head around that concept.
  13. Yes its a lot less fair, if you live there and pay your taxes etc you should get a say. If you dont you shouldnt. Why should Scotty get a vote that influences the lives of people when he doesnt even live there. And why should only the scottish get a vote presumably the Scots who live in England think they should get a vote in areas that affect their lives, council elections etc or should that be limited to English by birth only ?
  14. Errr yes we do I believe the first international match ever was between our goodselves, throw in that England sort of set out the original rules for Association football and that explains where we are today. The worst that will happen is that those footballing titans of trinidad and Tobago led by that paragon of virtue Jack Warner and assorted bent FA's across africa will kick up a stink and we will lose this permanent vice president and rule making roles. Well to be honest, so what, it hasnt really done any of the home nation FA's much of a favour in the past. Ive heard that some bookies now have Qatar as odds on to have the WC removed from them, following the corruption review that will eventually be made public. if thats true i'd wager that FIFA have more important things to worry about. The bookies rarely get it wronhg !!
  15. I cant but what has that got to do with the price of fish ?
  16. I would disagree, I would say most English people see England as a country and Scotland. I would agree that about 45% of Scots would potentially disagree with this but to a certain extent, thats the way it is, at the moment Edit -on a world stage I would say you would have to be pretty ignorant to think of Scotland as a region it should be about how you perceive yourself not how others see you IMHO
  17. Nope 55% of the people of Scotland voted in favour of Scotlant NOT being an independent country. England and Scotland are countries joined in a political union. You're a country right enough, just not an Independent country.
  18. You lost it on the financials again IMHO. You need to reassure all those people who are comfortable that they will remain so. Turkeys dont vote for xmas !!
  19. Would disagree with that, England is a country as is Scotland, currently in a union with Wales and NI. The union may not last forever but England and Scotland are definitley countries IMHO ;-)
  20. Now that was a thread, it had everything, possibly my favourite of all time. TAMBers using other tambers id's on the magazine website, threats of fisticuffs, and a doris posing with a mulberry bag if i remember rightly
  21. Rubbish he owns a Vespa and everything . Also I'm fairly certain the word gullible doesn't exist ;-)
