  1. Yes it is accurate. Hope it didn’t suggest he was preaching to his flock of SNP sheep 🙄
  2. My issue with Blackford is he tends to act a bit theatrical at times and overegg a speech, you can guarantee that if today was one of those times the BBC would have been all over it to make him look pompous. He was good today so I am not surprised he was cut short. People tend to believe whatever suits their agenda but I really hope that anyone on the fence will see that apart from showing nothing but disdain for Blackford , Johnson’s replies were utter horse shit and not even relevant to the questions. Stephen Kinnock asked him if he agreed Douglas Ross was a lightweight and he refused to answer, going off on a ramble about the union.
  3. When it cuts to the bit with him making childish faces it beggars belief. To think this person is running the UK is frightening.
  4. I am not Ian Blackford’s biggest fan but thought he was quite good today. Operation Dogs Dinner 😂
  5. He was fairly crude but at least he was quite funny with it in his disinterested, couldnt give a fook character. There was nothing remotely funny about Brian meeting his ex wife and her new boyfriend in the street and them rattling on about her shagging the whole street and that she was a slag. Or Pat the postie going on about his girlfriend having sex with everyone . And I canny stand that guy that is head of drama, he is no funny at all. Maybe its just me though! 😁 Quite liked the psychic woman. To prove I do have a sense of humour though I am still loving Curb Your Enthusiasm !
  6. Loved the first 2 series of this but have watched the first 2 episodes of this series and not been very impressed. Dont think I will bother finishing it . I am not particularly prudish but feel it is resorting to shit crude humour too often.
  7. Thumbs up reaction. There should be a by election in situations like this. The vast majority of people vote for the party rather than the person.
  8. Obviously fuel is having a major impact but shipping costs in general are playing a large part in this. They have gone from $1500 to $ 15-20k per container in a very short period of time. Mainly caused by an increase in demand for goods as covid diminishes. You would hope these costs will reduce over time, its fookin outrageous and affects absolutely everything we buy. House prices are going through the roof at the moment and 3 interest rate rises are expected this year. There will be a lot of pain if things don’t settle down.
  9. I meant it more as a blow to BJ ‘s leadership than the MP moving to Labour specifically..
  10. Tory MP defects to Labour. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jan/19/tory-mp-christian-wakeford-has-defected-to-labour-says-starmer
  11. Wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if the arrogant tosser did this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/inews.co.uk/opinion/boris-johnson-call-confidence-vote-commons-himself-could-backfire-1405800/amp
  12. I didn’t interpret it as a change of policy. I thought the football, amongst other restrictions, were always going to be a short term situation to take pressure of the NHS during the festive period with so many people, including NHS staff, testing positive for Covid. I dont really see it as backtracking when it was meant to be temporary. Whether it was effective or not is another question.
  13. Puppygate 🙄 , it just keeps coming. https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2022/01/15/downing-street-staff-made-puppy-gate-for-boris-johnson-while-he-isolated-15923808/amp/
  14. Mail and Express readers are his last men standing. He is fooked.
  15. Landscapers has been advertised a lot on Now TV, I had never heard of it but gave it a go. Its ‘different’. I imagine it will split opinions a bit. Some folk will see it as a clever piece of filming, others will see it as arty farty pish. I liked it , it did go off piste a bit at times but I thought it was well done. Main characters were fantastic which helped a lot.
  16. Or in his Moggy podcast language : Wee Dougy = work experience guy Alistair Jack = The Pope
  17. There are some people for which there really is no hope. We are truly doomed in this union with attitudes like this. ‘’On the streets of Uxbridge and South Ruislip, where Boris Johnson has been MP since 2015, people expressed “disappointment” and called for the prime minister to face a police investigation and penalties for breaking lockdown rules. But should he quit? Not a chance. While most voters who spoke to the Guardian in the west London constituency expressed frustration and anger with actions they perceived as unfair, some regular Conservative voters said they would remain loyal to the prime minister, and others were sceptical about the alternatives. Stuart Horace, a 57-year-old IT professional, was dissatisfied with Johnson’s apology for attending a No 10 garden party on 20 May 2020 and thought he should pay the same fine as a member of the public caught breaching Covid rules, as should his principal private secretary, Martin Reynolds, whom he felt was most to blame given that he sent the invitation to about 100 staff. However, he did not consider the issue a deal-breaker for Johnson’s premiership, and said that he would vote for him again, since “many people” held illegal drinks parties during lockdown.’’
  18. 😂 and here is me thinking he could go not go further down in my estimation .
  19. I cannot believe he is only 52 . Wtf. I thought he was born in the 1800’s.
  20. Its his flippant attitude. ‘ if the pope had popped in briefly’ , like its a big bloody joke.
  21. He gets away with fookin murder, people have been hounded out their jobs for a lot less. Reece Mogg on the subject. Another arrogant tosser.
  22. Result ! 👍 At 500 quid though even AC would have struggled to reject your claim. But thats great news and you will now feel some justification in taking out the warranty.
  23. 😂 you are far too obvious, I was perhaps thinking more of Orraloon or maybe even Grim Jim. Posting all his heavy metal stuff on ‘This Board Needs Tunes’ to throw us off the track.
  24. Nothing is out of the question. It’s quite possible that any one of us could in fact be Nicola Sturgeon on here posting absolute shite every day. Mental yes, but definitely not out of the question . And personal wrong doings don’t seem to have affected the job prospects of the donkey that is in No10 . It would be a set back for independence if she was to have some deep dark dodgy secret , but there are loads of people who dont like her anyway , yourself included. Someone else would take her place. Long term, the establishment are going to have to do more than tarnish Nicola Sturgeons reputation to stop the independence movement.
