  1. Fair do's scunnered. Genuine question though, I don't know the numbers off pat. Which party is prepared to spend more of the public pot to grow the economy? SNP or labour? I know Nicola's 0.5% above inflation may be up for negotiation but what is labour's starting position with Ed Balls? I would like to know in what way the SNP/labour anti-austerity thing is debatable.
  2. Huffy child? Haha where's that pettit lip emoticon? It's obvious that the SNP are both more anti-austerity and anti-trident than the labour party. I'm not sure they would be welcome in what is my idea of the establishment either, although your idea may differ. Your Katy may, or may not be, as principled as you say, but in the end she will be fartin against thunder if elected as a representative of the labour party. My bizarre attack was neither bizarre or an attack in my opinion. Hope not anyway. I don't wish to be personal and I kinda like reading your views.
  3. I think Labour are part of the establishment. You disagree?
  4. Again I can't get the quote thing to work Scunnered. Are you seriously saying the SNP are part of the establishment? Or are you saying the SNP have policies that are not left wing enough for you? I'm speculating here but they might have the right social-democratic balance in the majority of their manifesto, imperfect as it is, to win over the majority of the populace. I'm not seeing any hard left parties winning anything anytime soon mate. You, I believe, are campaigning for a socialist who, in my opinion, will tow the London Labour line the vast majority of the time. Is she going to stand alone as a labour MP in voting against trident and austerity? If so good luck to her. If not what is the point? The SNP are anti-both. End of. The SNP aren't perfect but, to me, they are a million times preferable to me than the establishment party that you are fighting for.
  5. The quote thing isn't working on my computer but: If the SNP are such an establishment party why are the establishment so anti-SNP? Why would anyone knock on a door for such a corrupt system as currently exists in the UK? The London press, to my mind at least, are who run the show. To a lesser extent the Labour-run Scottish media are equally complicit. And they are totally bricking it.
  6. I'm sure the higher echelons of the SNP are much more responsible then me but as far as I'm concerned, if the SNP hold the balance of power, I don't see any reason why the tail shouldn't wag the dog every now and then. F**k the tory press and f**k the establishment. They are so bricking it right now.
  7. I'm shitting bricks. That feeling in September was truly horrendous. I get the feeling something momentous is going to happen now but, somehow, I just can't get my head around it. All I can do is respect the votes of my countrymen/women.
  8. I would be surprised if they didn't. It's their best strategy to keep Labour in check. Millipede in charge of "Britain" Camshaft in charge of England.
  9. Or maybe it's just the influence of that complete cockwomble "Sir" Malcolm Bruce. Not my favourite person ever.
  10. Yes it did come as a surprise, but I do have a vote in Gordon so maybe they leaflet the whole electoral roll. They must think they're in with a chance because they surely couldn't afford to do that with every expat from every constituency?
  11. I got an election leaflet through fae that Jardine woman and that utter arsehole Malcolm Bruce asking me to vote LibDem in the election. I live in Australia. I had already ripped it in half before realizing I should have sent it back. Without postage. With a half brick.
  12. I don't think anyone is. But the media will paint it as that anyway, or just make it up if they can't find evidence. Genuine mainstream anti-Scottishness from down south in this GE campaign isn't reported in Scotland. There is no pretence of an equal union any more, why should we tread on eggshells while they treat us as 2nd class. F*ck them all. F*ck the media, f*ck Westminster, f*ck the UK and f*ck the English/British establishment.
  13. I can't see "Scottish Labour" being separate in any meaningful way as long as they are populated by the same people. Just a wee lap dog for the main UK party pretending to be a westie. Since the MSM is a branch of the Labour party in Scotland I don't think we could count on either of their support for a very long time, if ever. There would need to be a cull of MSP's and councillors as well as MP's. And papers dying on their feet. Here's hoping.
  14. Vote SNP get Tory blah blah blah. Xenophobic and hysterical London press - whodathunk it? Ask yourself this, who would the tories rather you voted for in Scotland? The answer is plain even though it could cost them the election. That's how scared they are. The only people better together are Labour and the tories. Real democracy scares the shite out of them. https://weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2015/03/08/can-you-smell-the-fear/
  15. I agree a positive message is preferable but, let's be honest, when the SNP get on the telly or in the papers they are always replying to some made up claim or another from Labour. The softly softly approach almost worked in the referendum but almost is not good enough. Some more time on the offensive and with Labour on the back foot is what I want to see. They need to shout from the rooftops about how Labour (and the LD's) back Trident and austerity and how them and the tories are just different shades of the same establishment shite.
  16. Why don't the SNP just run a campaign of "vote labour get tories" highlighting their commitment to continue austerity/trident etc as well as what happened when Scotland voted labour last time? Red tories or blue tories whats the difference?
  17. I've given up making excuses for the "good" rangers guys. They support those people in George square, whether they mean to or not. When I saw that lassie getting a saltire ripped off her that was my limit Nawzi's
  18. It was the most momentous day in my countries history. It seems like only one side want's to forget about it. though I can't speak for everyone but if you can't understand why supporters of the national team are unhappy about the result then maybe you would be better off on Rangers media?
  19. The referendum has changed so many peoples lives. For the better I hope. There is a huge cringe on the unionist side that wants it all to go away. Thats not going to happen. I've spoken to a few rangers guys who were default no's, would've voted no, but said they were disappointed with the result. Go figure. We have right on our side.
  20. I think it is brilliant that folk actually care. 70000 (plus 10000 greens SSP) people who want to give a small part of their lives to a cause is outsanding. Our imperial masters are bricking it right now.
