  1. Probably less than you’d think. Just ask Davy
  2. To paraphrase our Conservative MP earlier in the thread UEFA give everyone plenty of notice when games are. Months and often a year in advance. If £10-£15 is a struggle then they can put it on the credit card. What’s £10-£15? Entry and a pint or two at Teds gig, a TACA T-shirt that’ll be a duster within a fortnight, a small beer/prosecco and Pringles on the flight there, a night of refreshments out of the hotel mini bar or the fare of a Davy Bus. Whatever it is if people want to travel away following Scotland then it’s not an insurmountable task for people to have their finances in order to do so. If they are financially solvent enough to afford flights, digs, spending money and time off work then they can afford £10-£15
  3. Since it looks like there is going to be a robust system in place to deter harvesting at home games it’s high time there was a crackdown on harvesting at away games Everyone should be made to meet at a central location a few hours before the game and get bussed to the ground and you only get your match brief or Bluetooth ticket app activated on the bus with valid ID Id gladly pay a £10-£15 premium per away ticket for transport to and from the stadium at away games This way you’re getting something for your buck. You get getting transported to and from the match and is a god send considering some of the stadiums in past have been in some hell forsaken places to get to. More importantly it’s maintaining the integrity of the supporters club

  5. Northern Ireland is also part of the UK but unlike the troughers from the SNP the elected members of Sin Fein have never taken their seats in parliament As soon as the SNP get a seat in Westminster they’re down there on that gravy train living the life of luxury As I say arseholes
  6. I’d add that as an alleged independence party they should be focusing on independence and doing the best for the people of Scotland instead living a lavish lifestyle on the Westminster gravy train while trying to curry favour by spending weeks and weeks on end demanding a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine Arseholes
  7. Personally I think Vilamoura blows either of them out the water so heading there To answer your question though I’d opt for Albufeira
  8. I’ll be taking no lectures from the likes of these pictures of health over whether or not my Boots meal deal and morning porridge is healthy or not I can buy a bag of heroin and go to a nice cosy wee room and they’ll help me inject it. If they get their way I’ll not be allowed my chicken & bacon piece, packet of flame grilled beef McCoys and Lucozade original at dinner time or my porridge in the morning without getting taxed to the hilt for it No chance of banning heroin though as that will have a detrimental effect on the family income
  9. It beggars belief. They can send folk down to Brighton on a jolly to make some non descript documentary but can’t send ann extra body over to Amsterdam to divvy out the tickets. It doesn’t sound like 100% pick up. The following extract from the official communication still leaves harvesting open to abuse but a small step in the right direction Only tickets that are scanned as entered at the stadium will be awarded the relevant loyalty points post-match Only 2,400 tickets so I’m sure I’ll find a nice wee coffee shop to watch the game
  10. Amateur hour again at SSC towers What the fuck do these folk do day in day out? Circa £1.9million and they can’t even get the fucking date right
  11. Some more than others if the new ticketing system thread is any sort of barometer!
  12. I was probably swimming about a test tube
  13. Tickets for Euro2024 aren’t the SFAs tickets to sell so any SSC T&Cs attached to them are overridden by the vendor ie UEFA
  14. One thing which has always bugged me about Scotland is when you look at results from international matchdays teams win 4,5-0 regularly and it’s not surprising to see score lines of 7,8,9-0 but we always seem to huff, puff and bluff our way to victories by the odd goal or two against the likes of Moldova and the Faroes.
  15. Cash turnstiles worked for decades. Due to all seater stadiums though that wasn’t any longer feasible for high profile games. However tickets going on sale in the lead up to the actual games passed without any issue Maybe it’s time to make the SSC work for their dough. You either opt in or opt out of fixture X,Y and Z then they allocate tickets for each person/friend and family group Bring back queuing up outside Safeway’s on cold autumn nights. Let’s separate the men from the boys And furfuxake accept cash at the kiosks
  16. Good point regarding the data needed for away pick ups I mentioned previously that someone collected their ticket with their SSC card which had a photo of Ronald Villiers on it during the Wee Chicken Baws era. The SSC staff member handed over the ticket without as much as a by your leave I still think back to the poor cunt at Wembley who turned up only to find out that his ticket had been given away in error. Understandably he kicked up fuck and subsequently had his membership revoked Thankfully these occurrences are rare but I do support a 100% pick up at away games
  17. This is point which often overlooked. It’s only a home game in terms of the squads preparation and for fans that live within Rutherglen/Glasgow
  18. Perhaps I am elite enough now since I managed to obtain the instructions and carried out the match package buying process without any issue whatsoever yesterday
  19. Was anyone consulted on the points changes in 2018? All I remember was receiving an email outlining the changes to how they would be allocated As a fully paid up card holding member for more years than I care to remember I’d have expected to be consulted and balloted on any significant changes
  20. You’re advocating for non attendees to be awarded a point because they’ve paid upfront though
  21. That’s yer Jack Savoretti playing Germany tae
  22. Again, not everyone has the financial clout to spend money tickets they have no intention of using It looks like the SFA are putting in a robust system by the introducing the app which may only allocate you a point if you scan your ticket but you seem a bit hept up about it. I don’t see what the problem is
