  1. Why do the tabloids have to give oxygen to these weirdos? They wouldn't print conversations off the street, so I don't see why every deranged or sick tweet has to be.
  2. getting Watt capped against Gibraltar wouldn't be such a bad idea.
  3. Don't forget, Watt is eligible for Ireland...
  4. That's like never wanting to move your car because you've found such a good parking space.
  5. Nonsense. He's had plenty of experience of Scottish, Belgian and now English football. With his undoubted talent he should be in if he can play another dozen games to a high standard.
  6. Time to bomb out Morrison then?
  7. this has nothing to do with Gauld. if his parents are Scottish (as claimed above), what's the problem?
  8. England named him a day earlier so it wasn't quite a straight choice. Seems like a very good player and if his family are Scottish we should go for him.
  9. Maloney isn't a conventional winger and Morrison may not get the holding role with Brown and Fletcher available. Gauld can play any of the three positions behind the striker, who could well be Naismith based on the form of him and the alternatives.
  10. I can't read the article, but am I right in guessing they're buying up the worlds best youth players and getting them to turn out for Qatar?
  11. what's all this replace Naismith stuff? He could just as easily replace Maloney or Morrison. An odd assumption.
  12. It's far too early to suggest he's failed. He's playing at a higher standard than all but one SPFL team. If he's still a sub at 22 years old fair enough. The Bournemouth fans seem to rate him. I do agree if they get promoted he will have a tough job getting game time at that particular club.
  13. At u21 level, better to play reserves with good potential over 1st team ones from poor teams with limited potential. The latter being how we managed to get humped 6 nil by England.
  14. He'd be a lame duck, dry horse, or maybe even a tartan tammy.
  15. Naismith's game is more physical, regardless of physique. Glad to have both.
  16. Terrific player but not more physical than Naismith - that's crazy.
  17. Craig Wighton and Harper definitely in the mix in 2-3 years time. Looks quite promising with Gauld, Macleod and numerous others competing for midfield slots.
  18. People raving about Watt 's performance yesterday. I do think he's a potential international player for the relatively near future.
  19. Russell ahead of Rhodes. Looking forward to Snodgrass returning.
  20. Fletcher and Brown at 100% plus our creative players, is an exciting prospect.
