Saw a few Ireland players posing for pictures in the airport on night of the game too, no idea who they were though.

Some guy started talking to me in the airport, and we ended up together on the plane....asked him if he was a journalist covering the game then someone in an Ireland top starts reminiscing about him scoring when he took his son to his first Ireland game. Turns out it was Clinton Morrison. Apparently they used to "beat our lot" all the time. Nice guy though!

I would still take that, never thought I'd see it happen!!! Hahah good try, if i was that skint I would sell my sperm to allow me to make the game!

Thanks a lot for the advice everyone. After reading this I've looked into flights to Birmingham and Manchester, going to go for the Birmingham one as it gives me a little more time to play with after the game.

I'd love to mate, but I am currently a skint student who also has to budget to see ICT away in Europe too with no income in next few months

Anyone gone straight from the Aviva to airport before? There is a flight at 8.30pm on day of game, so would need to be at airport for 8pm at the latest. It is really cheap, probably a reason why....so that is why I was hoping to get it. Anyone think this is doable?

Did they go on sale bang on 12, or a bit before? Be a scramble to get tickets for 3 pointers tomorrow morning and busy, so trying to figure out what time I need to be at a computer for.

I still reckon they'll give us the usual 5k away allocation. They'll realize that even more Scotland fans will be in the Ireland end if they play the same game the SFA played.

They couldn't have, my brother bought a ticket from Welsh FA and used it to get into Wales home end.

Their allocation has been extended to over 10% now so hopefully we get a comparable allocation.

Hopefully it will be moved to Aberdeen. Only reasonable ground in Scotland it could be played in which would discourage English EDL and Scottish EDL to attend.

The North stand where away fans are housed holds 3k. If we get a part of the East stand like last time we could well be looking at 4-5k tickets seeing everyone down to 4/3 points is ok for a ticket. Going by seating plans at Parkhead, most of the Lisbon LIons stand has been blanked out for away fans, but obviously there will be a buffer zione. But that will still give Ireland like 5.5-6k tickets at Parkhead I'd estimate.....so hopefully SSC have come to some sort of deal with them for our allocation over there too.

I'm from Skye, my best advice would be May/June if your wanting to avoid the rain. Hardly get any in these months, while August can have a fair amount of rain. Although in general, this year there was a very good summer.
