Agree. Brendan Rogers slating the end of season friendlies is laughable too given that over the past 3-4 years we have always played 1 match instead of the 2 or 3 other teams play and average around 3 less a year than all other home nations.

Decent rest? Champions league qualifying rounds (x4) beginning in June & half a dozen SPL games. Be more shattered in September than he is now. He’s so half committed its laughable.

Alex McLeish will be the only satisfied Scotland supporter at present. The SFA will revert to McLeish now and say he was always in the frame. May aswell keep Malky Mackay and use younger players for those 4 friendlies. McLeish or the equivalent of McLeish will load those squads up with ‘young’ 29 year olds and dredge out Ikechi anya & Barry Bannan for another shot again. Depressing but not surprising regarding O’Neill, who can blame him also.

Agreed. Berra is in form but 33 this month. Souttar, McCrorie, Lindsay, Hendry, McKenna & Bates need included and blooded in. Hanley can do one.

Scotland fans booing Scotland players playing for Scotland due to a trivial club matter is a disgrace. You must’ve missed it all I guess or maybe you’re just choosing to forget about it. Pittodrie can’t get another fixture after the disgraceful scenes at the Holland game. Most embarrassing event I’ve witness in all my time supporting Scotland.

There’s atleast 3 young centre back in the SPL who should be in ahead of him (Souttar, McCrorie & Hendry) and Liam Lindsay. Possibly McKenna too.

Watching Hanley for the past 8 years or so makes us all good judges of his ability

It’s only the biggest problem if we pick players like Hanley. We have promising centre backs at a good age who we can promote to the senior side now.

Did you watch the game!? It was textbook Hanley. Defends acceptably enough and then a laughable mistake in his own box and 1-0 down. Hes what, 27 this year... hardly a young player we hope will get better.
