Apparently Abellio run one of the rail franchises down south, and have recently cancelled one of their cheap tariff fares, so it will be interesting to see how long the £5 inter-city one lasts.
The trains in Holland might be good, but Abellio might well have different objectives with this contract. ie making loads of money. Railways are generally a major drain, and not many run at a profit Europe wide. More to do with providing infrastructure than making money.
There is obviously some reason that Strachan doesn't pick Rhodes. We have to accept that his judgement is accurate. Don't think it is another Levein/Fletcher issue
If you scroll through the list, and remove all football debts, and debts of less than £1000, there is still a sh*t load of money which presumably was never paid, going by Debian's criteria for what was paid.
