Accommodation In Metz Looks Sparse
BremnerLorimerGray replied to Robroysboy's topic in France v Scotland
Booked an apartment for the 6 of us. Having a night out in Basel on the Friday then heading to Metz. -
Russel Martin is the only candidate in my eyes, if we were to replace Scott Brown. It remains to be seen whether D Fletcher is a first pick, and no other regular player particularly jumps out. Naismith and Marshall are probably the only others even in with a shout.

Midweek Games

Young lad (10) clipped by a copper and a policewoman indiscriminately swinging a baton at the suspect in the middle of the crowd. At least a dozen coppers trying from both sides to arrest a 14 year old boy for nothing, during play, with absolutely no concern for anyone's safety. The actions of the police could have caused a serious incident tonight, absolutely despicable behaviour from Police Scotland. The match commander must have been watching that through his fingers in horror. They won't be happy until there is no one in a football ground. -

I've learned the entire Let's Dance on drums recently. It was just a wee bit difficult, what an incredible album it is. Musically wise -

Currently Saudi Aramco, Financial Times and Fiat are the 3 adverts on my page. Much prefer the Mail order brides and trainers. -

Ironically enough, The studio version of the album Let's Dance contains arguably the best musicians that featured on any his albums. -

I wouldn't say it's even an argument when it comes to Spike Lee. He is a racist and doesn't particularly hide that fact. -
Beer!

It's similar that it's easy to drink, but it fairly hits you. Bierschenke in London used to sell it on draft. An absolutely tremendous pint. -

http://news.sky.com/story/1625292/calls-for-oscars-boycott-over-white-nominations Personally, I think it's a load of shite and the worst kind of attention seeking by certain actors/celebrities. There have been very few films featuring prominent black people that can genuinely say they deserve recognition from the Academy for this years awards. Are they to simply put movies up for awards because they feature prominent black people rather than having them there on merit? It certainly sounds as if that's what Spike Lee and Jada Smith are advocating. There wasn't the furore when 12 years a Slave won 3 oscars, or when Denzel Washington or Jamie Foxx or Morgan Freeman or Forest Whittaker won them in recent years.

When I lived in Holland, Hertog Jan was my drink of choice. A great lager. I've been drinking Sierra Nevada recently and really liking it. I was in a bar in Bath St a few weeks ago that was selling Sierra Nevada Torpedo, an eventful night out followed after skelping more than a few of them. -

Professional performance from Motherwell today against Cove. Really should have been double the score, but all credit to Cove. They played some decent stuff with a few players showing some really good touches and a big pat on the back to travelling support, a very impressive backing that puts Premiership teams to shame. -

More likely to have realised it's all been a bit daft, but potentially damaging to core business no matter how trivial people think it to be. I would imagine we might be hearing less of Boyd Tunnock as well when it comes to the marketing side of his business. -
Reykjavik Barcelona/Bilbao Salzburg/Basel San Francisco Honolulu(For a city it's great, but the rest of the Oahu is much better) It's too hard to narrow it down to 5 to be honest. The likes of Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Athens, Bucharest, Budapest etc are all worth visiting. I've had great times in loads of cities in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, The US and so on. I really want to explore South America though. Catch Football in Buenos Aires and Sao Paolo, Visit Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Bolivia.

Given he's been taken away from interviews and being mic'd up, cynically, you could suggest he did it on purpose to get out of media duties. I'm sure he'll be giving zero ####s about it anyway, will no doubt host numerous elaborate parties in Australia and pump birds because that's what he does. He's Chris Gayle, he's in the top 3 highest paid players in the World because he's a box office guarantee wherever he plays. As harsh as it may be, Cricketers of Gayle's calibre are few and far between, journalists are ten a penny, it'll be forgotten about quickly.

Well, discounts in John Lewis and Waitrose swing it to be fair. The Mrs and I do drop in to Aldi as well, so another Waitrose and Aldi shopper here. -

I food shop in M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose, I shop very frequently in John Lewis and my wife works for the partnerships accounts department. Hardly Earth shattering stuff to be fair. -
