  1. Seems obvious. The man of the match purely is fan awarded by people at home (not at the match or maybe not even seeing the match) and Scots will inflate Scottish players scores to a degree they often end up MoM.
  2. Agreed. Just look at the chaos he brought to his own country encouraging anarchy getting his followers to storm Congress.
  3. Hmmm.no I don't think so. Salmond never pushed polls any higher than they are around now and neither did Sturgeon.
  4. Pretty sure there was talk of interest from Udinese at the start of the season too.
  5. Of course. It will all be done in a way so that she gets punished (rightly so) but nothing at all will be said or done about the seedy corrupt government who actively chose to use her company knowing fine it was totally wrong. In the real world it would be the government that would take the biggest punishment.
  6. Despite unionist media's all out attack on the SNP and Scottish Government:- https://www.thenational.scot/news/24077480.new-scottish-independence-poll-gives-yes-four-point-lead-union/
  7. Well we shall see soon enough. I cannot see why a newspaper would come up with a totally wrong theory in any case. They must have got the info from somewhere legit but I, like you, cannot find it.
  8. Well given that we know that there will be 12 qualifying groups that tallies with the top three teams from the four League A groups making up the twelve top seeds.
  9. I see no reason why an English paper would take the wrong end of the stick when it is looking at it from a poor angle for England.
  10. Not according to that English newspaper. Even if England won all of their games in the upcoming Nations League and were promoted they would be outside the top twelve as top twelve spots go to teams that finish in the top three in all four League A groups.
  11. Spot on. The genie escaped the lamp after the Thatcher reign and it has not and will not go back in. The age of sub-servient Scots who en-masse bought into the crap that the union was pure and just have long gone never to return.
  12. At the end of the day the decision of when to hold a referendum should lie with Scottish Parliament as it is a Scottish matter. We entered into this union through a vote by the politicians of Scotland (most bought off) so why do we now have to ask Westminster just to have a referendum. It is totally unacceptable and unreasonable bordering on dictatorship. I get that there should not be a referendum on regular basis but when catastrophic decisions such as Brexit are made (against what Scotland voted for) then referendum should have been held. Also at times of strong pro-independence MP's voted in for General Elections or Scottish Elections. Nothing unreasonable about that.
  13. Absolutely. Tories are renowned as a party that sees money as the be all and end all - a welfare scheme for the rich where they work for the better wealth of the rich where they get richer and the poor get poorer. That being the case they are certainly not fighting to keep hold of Scotland so they can subsidise it. It is not rocket science.
  14. I think it is more likely this injury was caused by him coming back too soon after the previous hamstring injury. Hamstrings do need to fully heal or else they can be prone to going again as has happened here. Worryingly, apparently if this is what has happened the second tear can be worse and take 3 to 5 months to heal. I hope that is not the case here.
  15. And lest we forget Thatcher's pledge that Scotland should have independence when it returned a majority of MP's supporting it. Conveniently ignored.
  16. No there is a much larger portion in the UK. Or else why aren't the good people of England insisting Scots are listened to and given another referendum since we voted against Brexit and it happened anyway? Nothing like that going on in Germany.
  17. And one in 300+ years is reasonable? After all Westminster got its vote on Brexit after less than 50 years.
  18. And in any case it is totally irrelevant if there are well-informed English people you know. They are not in positions of power calling the shots in Westminster where the megalomaniac arseholes reign. Another more recent sign of the dark influence the UK has had was Blair going to war based on pure lies. Also seeing it again with the British Government sitting by watching Israel decimate the Gaza Strip at will.
  19. Germany different as they have moved on. Britain has not as they still hanker for the British Empire days and still believe they hold big influence in the world. And would not call just a couple of years ago distant history either.
  20. Yes because that is what was ordained by Westminster. The Scottish Government certainly would not have agreed to that and perhaps neither would the other nations outwith England.
  21. No Westminster's cabal has not moved on. Look at how they reneged on the Brexit deal over Irish border as little as two years ago. The history of the British Empire has been littered with purely disgusting acts in Zulu Wars, in Sudan War in late 1890s, sending tanks onto the streets of Dublin in the early 1920s because they dared want independence, the starving of the Indian population in the late 1940s because they dared look for independence. Need I go on?
  22. This 'Union of Equals' is pure BS. Look at the Brexit vote for that. Two nations in the union voted against it and two for it but sod it Brexit it is. A 'Union of Equals' would have needed all four nations to vote in favour of Brexit.
  23. Do me a favour eh? When Scotland was an independent country (and England was its nearest trading partner) what did it do? It throttled Scotland's trade deals abroad by blockading its trading ships from getting into ports across the globe to kybosh our trade deals, force us to our knees and make us a prisoner forcing us into an unbreakable union. Mission accomplished.
  24. Precisely. Means we avoid the likes of France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and other tough opponents. But knowing our luck we will draw,England from secondcseeds.
  25. Yescit would be after this iteration of the Nations League is over.
