  1. They have never been capped at full-level by England.
  2. Sorry but can you name me any SNP leader including the Messiah Salmond or Surgeon that has got polls of 60% yes for independence? There isn't one so it is unfair to attempt to beat Humza with that stick. The polls have remainedaround the same levels and support for Yes has not fallen away since Humza came in so he cannot be portrayed as the disaster that people are determind to paint him as.
  3. Agreed. There was a hung parliament in 2010 and it never brought about a referendum and although there was one in 1974 and no referendum there was not the support for independence then to the degree it is today.
  4. There is no way to 'get' a referendum in this union anyway. The only way it is attainable in over 300 years is by Westminster granting it.
  5. This whole scenario blows the wild theory out of the water purpotrated by some that Nicola Sturgeon was some sort of a Westminster plant.
  6. And with it you hear that famous commentary of Faddy's goal in Paris: 'They've been suckered....'
  7. The more depressing thing is Scots revelling in it posting and believing stories which are friggin' non-stories about an SNP MP having an affair. That is unfathomable in my book and fans the flames that unionists are looking to burn independence with.
  8. Agreed. But handy he could be slotted in there if need be for whatever reason.
  9. End of the day I did not see the SNP Government partying at Bute House. I did not see them still hosting sporting events with full crowds once COVID was spreading. I did not see them dithering on lockdown etc. All this and pretty sure Scotland's stats on COVID was not as high as Westminster-run England.
  10. According to the UEFA website the fixtures will be published the morning after the draw so Friday the 9th of February 2024. Pretty sure the SFA will then put tickets for sale in a five match package of Northern Ireland (Friendly), Finland (Friendly) and the three Nations League fixtures.
  11. Yes the main thing is he gets matches under his belt. If he does well I am sure Copenhagen will look to make the deal permanent.
  12. I cannot see it being a loan deal as Forest will get nothing from it as by the time the loan deal ends McKenna will be a free agent.
  13. Yes a surprise but if it gets him first team football then great.
  14. We should be asking Michael Gove to quantify that remark. Why is Scotland going independent a 'risk' to the UK Government considering the unionists are forever telling us Scotland is potless, a basket-case and totally subsidised by the UK.
  15. Fact of the matter is currently he is English. Wikipedia describes him as an English footballer and he has onlyever represented England. Until he comes out in the press and declares himself as Scottish or Clarke calls him up he surely remains English. After all do we then open this up to every player in football with Scottish roots even when they have chosen to represent another country?
  16. As for the newspaper report I now think they maybe half read the wikipedia World Cup Qualifying (uefa) page where it refers to Nations League ranking deciding seeding but that is the play-offs they are talking about. See here:- 16 teams (twelve group runners-up and four best Nations League group winners, based on the Nations League overall ranking, that finished outside the top two of their qualifying group) will be drawn into four play-off paths, playing two rounds of single-match playoffs (semi-finals with the seeded teams to host, followed by finals, with the home teams to be drawn). The four path winners will qualify for the World Cup.
  17. The draw for qualifying is to be held in December of this yeat.
  18. Udinese have ruled out any move for Porteous.
  19. I think the independence polls really indicate what unionists deny. That is that there is a decent number of non-SNP voters that want independence. I mean the polls have remained pretty consistent with Yes polling in the 40s%. Even when SNP were winning more seats at elections than they will this time around the polls remain constant. SNP will lost MPs and vote share at the next GE but the polls are unaltered as far as independence is concerned.
  20. Hmm Tony Blair's taking country to war based on lies? Plus SNP was stronger too so Ivsee no reason why he should have had same polls when many see him as some sort of a god compared to Youssuf who many see as some sort of a devil who inherited leadership with SNP in a far worse place.
  21. Belief that it inflates that player's importance to the team and (falsely I know) thinking it can somehow have an influence on future selection etc which it doesn't of course.
  22. Seems obvious. The man of the match purely is fan awarded by people at home (not at the match or maybe not even seeing the match) and Scots will inflate Scottish players scores to a degree they often end up MoM.
  23. Agreed. Just look at the chaos he brought to his own country encouraging anarchy getting his followers to storm Congress.
  24. Hmmm.no I don't think so. Salmond never pushed polls any higher than they are around now and neither did Sturgeon.
  25. Pretty sure there was talk of interest from Udinese at the start of the season too.
