  1. I did a fine elaboration on mine which added to the emotion. Was doing polling duty when a lassie made up her mind to vote Yes after throwing a few questions at me. Felt good as she had previously been engaged in conversation with Adam Ingram.
  2. I'm beginning to lose my calm watching it, Peter Snow is appalling.
  3. Sorry about that. I was still awake playing it on repeat before posting it in the wee sma oors.
  4. Sharing the video last night without explaining the connection resulted in some misunderstandings over Hayman's delivery. Here's Charlie.....
  5. Brilliant! Who better than David Hayman to present such a powerful adaption. Yes! Yes! Yes share this widely.
  6. There's more passion in Tommy alone than the entire BT mob. 60 - 40
  7. Cheers! Wish I'd been there. The one I saw wasn't on youtube which I never find easy to embed on here.
  8. Can anyone embed a video from Yes Scotland by Sam Langford taken of the crowd in Buchanan Street today. Lots of Yes supporters with flags singing Caledonia beside the Dewar statue. Fantastic!
  9. Is Furry Boots some kind of a guessing game. Easy one of mine.
  10. I lasted 8 mins watching soor face. What does it take to make a man so bitter about his own country.
  11. Not much point cherry-picking the worst points and turning the entire post bold.
  12. Farmer Willie Forbes in Farr, Strathnairn making good use of his old feed buckets.
  13. March! Seriously, if you're as lucky as I've been the weather can be mild and dry and of course no midges. Only rained once and that was on arrival then the welcome rainbow appeared. The only downside being the mist covering Neist Point which I've yet to see in full vision. Big plus is booking fabulous self catering accomodation* at half the price of the spring/summer rates. *
  14. No idea how chart topping works anymore but anything to promote a great song can only be good.
  15. Good stuff Hope his message gets through to many in England to realise the importance of a YES vote.
  16. Now I can repeat tunes from the original thread without anyone knowing. It's taken a while for The Handsome Family to be recognized until HBO came along and plucked their song about a psychedelic plant. I was happy not to share them but hey ho its a good one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRPpCqXYoos
  17. You may ask, although it was quoted at the time. How many council workers does it take to drive round the corner and tip a hat.
  18. You'd think wouldn't you. There isn't one line that isn't up for scrutiny. Written by Allan Massie who last month published a pamphlet 'Nevertheless' setting out his vision of Scotland's future. Little snippet here arguing his case.... It is, for me, a matter of self-confidence. If you feel the lack of that, you will vote for independence. If you feel confident of Scotland's ability to remain Scottish and prosper in the Union, you will agree that we are indeed Better Together and vote 'No'. I am Scottish. Nevertheless, I am also British and value the Union with England, "our sister and ally", as [sir Walter] Scott called her. Now that's not satire, to me just plain folly.
  19. Aye I know that, all the same did it not take them long enough to stop costing the tax payer £200 every time they removed each cone.
