  1. i called them when i got back from holiday last week as i'd missed the email. as had my mate as he was on holiday too. they said then that there was approx 80 on the waiting list but the waiting list would then be dealt with on a points basis. i'm a 9 pointer and my mate's on 8 and we got a call this afternoon to say that we were both getting tickets. the ridiculously short lead time for ticket sales is pretty far from ideal. i know a lot of that is outwith the hands of the SSC but they could've given a bit more notice or worked with ATAC to arrange 100% ticket uplift in Tbilisi. they could even have "sold" virtual tickets to club members and then confirmed (or not) those sales once in receipt of the physical briefs.
  2. unless you stayed a Saturday night. which made all mid-week away games a four or five day bender.
  3. if you've got "considerable capital" as stated on a previous post why not get yourself booked on one of the many flights available for the match? and to satisfy your "genuinely trying to address the serious travel issues faced by the TA" offer to heavily discount the trip for half a dozen or so fans that can't afford it.
  4. the "plastic paddys" live on the Scottish side of the water - not in Ireland. that won't have changed in spite of a great weekend.
  5. Clearly you're forgetting the recent Qatar match. We sailed through that do or die cup final
  6. I got this from the Easter Road Conference & Events Sales Manager a couple of weeks ago: Could you please just put some information up on one of your boards regarding the below: ‘’A cash bar will be open in the North Stand from 5pm onwards on the evening of the Qatar match with a food and drinks offer available which is yet to be confirmed’’ Any questions please just let me know! We are just keen to let fans know that we will have facilities open on site J
  7. there's a ticket only (unfortunately, no tickets left) pre-match function in the smaller hall. the large hall is closed for the wedding. the bar in the stand at Easter Road will be open and kids are permitted in there.
  8. quite right. £15 a ticket is outrageous to watch our national team. and don't even get me started that it's a fiver for kids. scandalous.
  9. too much time on his hands and he just sits there thinking............... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZUIzPtWu_g&safe=active
  10. There's nothing to stop anyone at anytime approaching the SFA about tickets or anything else. After you've been in touch with them can you post on here with how you got on with them and what points you discussed? I can't understand why anyone would buy a season ticket. That's not the best way to complain about ticket prices. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_football.cfm?page=3138 "For all enquiries please contact us either at the address above or by email to supporters@scottishfa.co.uk or by telephone on 0141 616 6197 or 6198." PS - the Scotland Travel Club no longer exists. It was replaced by the SSC.
  11. Jules McGeever, on the other hand, is the shameless, money chasing marketing genius who appears to be behind increasing their profit from supporters by 33%. She has neither a clue about her customers or a grasp on reality.
  12. totally correct. make it look like a shortage to encourage panic buying. no way this match will sell out. the SFA marketing department are playing games as usual. bunch of see you next tuesdays.
  13. Flure, i think page 20 is more relevant and explicit: "Increase supporters club net income by 33% by 2015"
