Not sure what the point of that would be when they are able to win elections as it is. The issue is being unable or unwilling to come up with a plan to achieve independence beyond asking for a referendum.

Hard to see any of them being as popular as Sturgeon with the public and able to unite the party and unless I’m missing something, the path to independence looks a long way off, possibly as far off as it has been in a long time.

it’s almost concerning that this vote is deemed to be so important for independence, shouldn’t any snp politician be capable of taking the independence movement forward? Obviously some are gonna be more likeable than others to your unsure voter but if that’s what it’s hinging on, maybe it’s not meant to be.

Agreed. Shame we can have more people like this as politicians. Said it before but social media has really highlighted how a lot of politicians are really just activists for some causes or generally under qualified for the job.

I’m sure I could google polls on what voters care about but just a hunch from what friends and family over the years have talked about what matters when voting
