I’m not doubting the dons had issues with casuals but both rangers and Celtic fans used to go to Aberdeen in the 70s and 80s and treat it like their own personal toilet and basically do whatever they liked. I don't think its all down to size of fans base, thats a contributing factor but the hatred and rivalry is also a factor. Rangers and Celtic because of that hatred attract more scumbags

Aberdeen aren't even third rate now. Its been ten years since we got recognition for anything we did in Europe good point and I do but I'm not sure how that would work, two leagues where the two country's in question are joined together and very small in terms of land mass will be easy to impliment but how would you implement 5 countries who's top divisions have 20 each?

Agree with most but the durrant song is nowhere near as vile as the ibrox disaster song. Front page news is exactly where it should be if it’s going to embarrass people into behaving, it’s worked for the racism campaign. Racism hasnst been eradicated but progress is being made. Having in a tiny space in the middle of the paper won’t have the same effect. i don’t think anyone is remotely surprised nor do I think anyone is making this out to be a surprise but that’s not the point.
