  1. Just watched the 1-0 game 8 year ago at Ibrox. We hammered them but were both lucky to score and not to concede from their 1 real chance. We had a decent team on paper that day and all.
  2. 24 caps 22-23 but given played 5 years does seem Giggs level patchy. Could be done with them keeping Spain honest and getting points off Georgia maybe. Wouldn't fancy needing a win v them last game with Haaland on the shoulder of last man either though!
  3. I'm probably more nervous about tonight than Saturday as these could be a surprise package. Think their lack of depth and it being an away double header should help but their domestic league only went on mid-season break 2 weeks ago so their fitness may not be an issue 🤔 It's difficult to judge their run given their Nations League standing but some not bad results in there. Can't be as half arsed as the Cyprus game or could be a long night
  4. Going into the last round of fixtures purely for argument sake Spain 18 points (shit themselves so basically beat everyone since losing to us with Georgia left tp play) Scotland 13 points (wheels come off only beating Cyprus and drawing h to Georgia with Norway at home to go) Georgia 11 points (4 points from Scotland but still need to beat Spain and hope Scotland can't beat Norway) Norway 10 points (need to beat us for 2nd) We've put ourselves in a great position and that's all it is at the moment- no point pulling a cracker only to spunk your pants at her front door. However it makes a nice change having to calculate methodologies of potentially fucking it up rather than qualifying 😆
  5. How hot was it in Cyprus Saturday? Two away games will probably mean they'll tire too and have to dig into the squad which hopefully benefits us.
  6. The only luck for me was their coach taking off Haaland which was batshit bonkers to be honest. However, we fully exploited it by pushing 20 yards up the pitch and went 4 at the back. Yesterday proved we are a proper side for me - once we scored there wasn't a hint of camping on the edge of our box to squeak it out but immediately went for the jugular.
  7. For me the game plan was obvious - keep it 0-0, frustrate them and with the heat try to pinch it in the last 20 minutes especially as our bench is stronger than theirs. Up until Haaland fell on his arse it had 0-1 written all over it. It wasn't a great watch but the tactics were being executed almost to perfection as they needed to win and were absolutely toiling. Aside from their two obvious superstars genuinely thought they were a very limited side and we were collectively a much stronger unit Subbing Haaland was suicidal and as soon as that happened was convinced we weren't losing.
  8. Plain and simply anyone watching that today not realising we're the better side by miles knows fuck all about football!
  9. Agree completely- As a Stoke fan I'm similarly getting massive Pulis vibes especially when Arsenal/ Norwegian show ponies start moaning 👍
  10. Reminds me being a Stoke fan in Pulis glory years mate - spirit oozes from them!
  11. These have done literally fuck all apart from a really dodgy peno
  12. We did what we needed to do but a splasher of a peno has fucked us. If we'd gone literally another few minutes their arse would have been twitching
  13. This has all the hallmarks of a Steve Clarke Kilmarnock special so far fingers 🤞
  14. I think the last 45 minutes has shown how good a side we really are. Get to 60 minutes without conceding hopefully then see from there 👍
  15. Felt a bit sorry for him as he's been given an absolute hospital pass. They seem to have told Alexander Arnold to play where he wants. Robertson's still to get up and down plus cover centre half as one of them is continually getting pulled over to right back. I don't think he's been very good this season but get the impression he's going to be the scapegoat for the scouser's posterboy unfortunately
  16. Supposed to be playing mint - hope he goes Italy, Spain or Germany in the summer.
  17. To be honest biology never really did it for me so I'm pissing in the dark. One thing I did hear on this documentary was there wasn't just homeosapians and neanderthals but two(?) other groups and that they'd found evidence of one of these in Sherpa bloodline. I was pissed at the time though watching on YouTube so could have been the bloke off 'Alien History' for all I remember 😆
  18. It's probably the first, or one of a handful, of times I've watched one. He's performing an act and his ratings have offered protection. What I thought was interesting is more Fox reaction- why now? They're sponsored by pharmaceuticals so if his vaccine stuff had been too problematic they'd have pulled him before now. The Dominion case settlement is only usd800m which equates to less than a month revenue- it'll have helped nail his coffin shut I'd imagine but can't see it being the catalyst given what he brought in. Murdoch said he'd got too spiritual which sounds bollocks too. What apparently is the cause is he did an investigative piece on his own regarding Ukraine alleging government are up to their eyes in money laundering, massive sums of cash disappearing etc whereby one of the top dogs/ sponsors walked. On the face of it the nuclear story seems mental. - why have the US got nuclear technology in Ukraine - why have Russia risked causing nuclear meltdown at the plant to get it and - why is it so important that the US government have written a letter to Russia cap in hand asking they take care of it? China must be laughing its cock off as it just continues investing across the rest of the globe. Waaaay too much effort though to remain wholly ignorant 👍
