  1. OK, I'll give it some time ๐Ÿคจ If only a certain 'gentleman' not far from here knew that the way to a woman's heart was to dance along to her music
  2. First single I tried (that is I asked my folks to) buy. In Woolies. Think it was on its way back down the charts by then (obviously 1989 or so ), so no longer available. Now I come to think of it though ๐Ÿค” . Dad worked for a Dutch firm, and maybe they pissed him off. Even though he voted SNP some of the time, when the fitba came on he supported England vs Holland (insert me pulling hair out emoji). So was he as bad as I am now, trying to find a bag o' tatties without a fuggin' butcher's apron on it
  3. Oh dear. Did we did body parts? Heart & hands are in there too ๐Ÿ˜ณ And some flora & fauna. Fekkin' goldmine there Bonzo!
  4. Hope the police stop Union Jack and his Mini Murray Me at the border and fine them. Law-breaking bawbags.
  5. You sure they weren't being ironic? My name? Ask anyone who knows me. I am a miserable barsteward. Not as bad though as an ex-colleague we called Billy Doom.
  6. Fringe-O ? Apologies, but you have always been Fring-Go to me. Now I see a frog with a fringe (blonde)... and a beret on top. Or were you F'n Ringo?
  7. I've a lot of black, come to think of it Blue on Black immediately came to mind when this topic was suggested before (by HM and/or Tidy?). I don't think it happened as someone jumped in and started another. Unfortunately @Heuch Moray disappeared again at that. Shame, as she had some different stuff. Same with @silverbear. Hope they come out of isolation!
  8. I'm curious too about the oval in the top-right? No stands that I can see. Between that and east end of Hampden are wee white houses. I'm pretty sure those are prefabs that were hurriedly put up post war. I believe I can remember them from my earliest visits. Off topic, but for younger viewers...
  9. First round draw? A bit tough. Would your dad have fancied your chances against any/many of the others? On agg. I mean.
  10. I also thought they were in front of the Erskine Bridge under construction ๐Ÿ˜†
  11. I had to look up Ronnie Simpson's height there. 5'10", so not tiny. Gilzean's gonna dwarf him when he stands up though.
  12. https://www.travellingtabby.com/scotland-coronavirus-tracker/ Tempted to put this into the Positivity thread. The last three days have new infections less than 100 per day. The last day we had that was 24th March. Tuesday-Saturday are the worst days for reported death numbers, but today is the least-bad Tuesday since March also. I appreciate there's more bad news for people through the week. Starting to look good though if we don't loose control. My region, Glasgow & Clyde in particular still has a wee bit to go. With how many new infections/day could we be able to manage test & trace?
  13. My dad had a ticket, but missed it. In bed with the flu. Imagine a virus goin' about at this time of year.
  14. That's great. It goes with my hair in lockdown (if I'm on the silver screen , and not viewed via baldy bit at the back). I may have to finally get out the trimmer in case I'm mistaken for an old mod.
  15. Naw! If I was I'd probably know who The View were, and not rely on my (younger) pal. (I like Same Jeans btw. Thought it was Paulo Nutini, but his were four days old or whatever.) The only gig I've been to on Glasgow Green was a beer fest . But much more interesting was Temperance Movement's 2018 gig at 11pm or so in King Tut's. They'd been on the Green at 7.30am or so. I'd love to have see them there, but not for a ticket full of mince at TRNSMT (spelling?) 2018. Oanyhoo... much to my delight, TM appeared at a wee late night soiree in KT's at the much more respectable hour and went along. The young gentleman joined our company that evening. Then and today... I wrongly assumed he'd been entertaining you weans earlier that day. Sounds like he just had as good taste in music as me ๐Ÿ˜œ
  16. Shiiiiit !!! OK, Looked it up, and King Tut's was 2018, so he wasn't playing on the Green that year. Must've had a couple of guest passes. FFS, I've only mislaid one year
  17. Ah now I recognise him! My mate had to tell me who he was then. Was beside this young chap at The Temperance Movement's after hours gig at King Tut's last year. Was one of my best nights out ever (I'm easily pleased - and cheap). Though this young man may not remember his night. He was obviously relaxing after a hard day's work at TRNSMT on The Green. Shit, it's great to realise I'm not yet senile. What year was that again? ๐Ÿ˜ณ
