  1. There's no movement and no energy from the players. It feels like we've had about 80% possession and done absolutely sod all with it.
  2. Those changes in defence have weakened us so much. 4-0 does not tell the story of this game at all.
  3. 3-0 feels a bit harsh, but it shows how important being clinical is.
  4. We're starting to wobble a bit now; need to get a grip of ourselves.
  5. Disappointing to be a goal down, I thought we matched them pretty well, looked dangerous on the break, and played some really neat, passing football in that 15 minute spell when we were on top (the combination game? It'll never catch on). Shankland looks a bit out of his depth, but as we don't really have any better options, hopefully he'll learn from this experience and take it into future performances. Patterson has some absolutely sublime things, and also made the simple things look difficult at times. Robertson's been the stand-out for me so far, but McTominay, Christie and McGinn all looking good too. Overall, a lot to like about us; hope to see more of the same in the second half.
  6. Is it just me, or does the home jersey have differrent patterns on it in different images?
  7. I know someone who's staying in Mannheim with a local family they know. I can ask for recommendations if you want? (And, aye, I know this is a very late response....)
  8. I wouldn't be surprised if it's written into the SFA's contract with Adidas that they update their kits every 2 years, in line with the new tournament cycle. I think every team will have a new jersey for Euro 2024. Pesonally, I'd love it if the SFA reverted to the classic 150th anniversary strip for the tournament, but I think UEFA's rules probably preclude it. I know have an annoying tradition-breaking rule requiring shirts/shorts/socks to all be predominently the same colour, despite lots of countries having over a century of tradition of kits with different a coloured shirt/short/socks combination.
  9. I've got 2 nights in Munich, the night before the big day and then the night of the game itself. After that, it's 10 days in Heidelberg. Depending on the trains, either do Cologne in a day from there, but more likely crash on the floor of a friend's hotel room. Stuttgart will be done in a day trip from Heidelberg. Not sure if it's worth doing a day in Stuttgart on the Saturday for the build-up atmostphere as well.
