Me and my dad are staying at Holiday Inn Express Munich - City East from Thursday - Sunday. Hotel situated in decent wee location with the local station just round the corner from the hotel. He's going to head back home on the Sunday and I will get train onto Cologne that same day.

It does look class from the pictures I've seen. Planning on paying it a visit on the Saturday to watch the Hungary v Switzerland & Croatia v Spain games. Going to be in and around Marienplatz during the day for the Scotland game and them jump onto the direct subway/metro/underground (whatever they call it over there) towards Allianz Arena (think the stop is Frottmaning) from there for the game.

Gunn is the number one for me. Gordon is a great backup to have.

I think whoever wants a ticket for this game will get one (whenever they are released by the SFA). Won't be surprised if some tickets get sent back to the Dutch as can't see us taking that many over for this especailly with the Euros in Germany not that far away now.

Not surprised he's been linked with Bayern Munich, especially with Alphonso Davies looking very likely is going to Real Madrid

Souttar has been excellent since getting an opportunity to stake that CB role next to Goldson. Played a big part in this winning run that has seen Rangers catch and leapfrog Celtic into first. On this form, he’d be impossible to ignore given our lack of depth and quality options in that position. His assist for the opening goal against Hearts was absolutely exquisite. Hanley has just returned from a long term nasty injury and his game time at Norwich has been getting managed closely. Seems to be performing well when called upon. Unsure about Hendry as I don’t watch/follow the Saudi league. Porteous was not long ago struggling for game time having lost his place in the starting lineup due to poor performances and there were even reports that Udinese were trying to sign him recently in the January window - would have been a great move for him. Got back into the Watford team this month but seems like he loves to pick up a booking every game which has resulted in him missing the last two games through suspension. Reading some of the reviews from Watford fans on his performances this season, underwhelming is pretty much what they unanimously think of his performances this season. Cooper has been warming the bench for Leeds and I can’t see him making it due to the lack of game time at his club for the final 23-man squad unless we get a gigantic injury crisis at CB.

I think you have it spot on there baring injuries of course as stated. I would go for the same selection with the two remaining places going to ideally two centre backs. Hickey and Tierney are the two major doubts. Hickey has been injured since Oct and I don't think even his club manager knows when he is due to return. Tierney is massively injury prone and who knows if he can stay well clear of injuries between now and this summer. What position is Archie Gray? I know he's English but qualifies to play for us through his dad & heard good positive reviews about him.

Glad I am not the only one that has encountered the same as you. I registered for the new ticketing website yesterday and noticed that my loyalty points were incorrect too. Sent them an e-mail about it earlier this afternoon. Like you said, I'm glad we don't need points for tomorrow's 5 match package sale but certainly preparing for the worst.

Yeah they will be in the hat along with the runners up in the groups. I can’t remember if it’s seeded/unseeded depending who gets the home semi final?

I wonder when the tickets for these games as well as the home friendlies against Northern Ireland & Finland will be going on sale to the SSC? Ticketing site is currently under maintenance and I’ve been refreshing my mailbox a fair few times but no e-mail yet from the ticketing department.

That’s a load of rubbish tbh. Just like ourselves, they have got their on merit by winning their nations league group to get promoted.

Group winners in League C automatically go into the playoffs for the Euros and not at the expense of anyone else. Just like this years one, being the Path C winners who are in the playoffs (Greece, Georgia, Kazakhstan & Luxembourg). The Nations League determining of who gets a play off spot for the Euros is different to how it operates for the World Cup edition as obviously lesser teams involved. We will need to wait and see closer to the time when the conclusion of those World Cup qualifying groups are concluded and what the picture is.

This is what I seen online: World Cup qualifying starts in 2025, and the 12 European group winners will automatically qualify. Twelve runners-up will then enter play-offs, but there will be four other spots, which will be taken by the four best-ranked Nations League group winners who have not finished first or second in regular qualifying. This means teams who are unlikely to finish top or second when qualifying starts can still make the World Cup via a good Nations League campaign.

Happy with that. If all our players are fit and on form, I’d actually fancy us to have a very good go for 1st place. Portugal for me are the favourites for 1st place but certainly beatable, especially at Hampden. Croatia I fancy our chances against but not going to bet against them as they always seem to prove everyone wrong when they are doubted/predicted to fail. Poland are the clearest definition of a “one man team” - keep that Lewandowski quiet and we should win both our games against them.

I hope League A gets drawn out first rather than having to sit through & watching the lower leagues get drawn out first before it comes to ours. I don’t give a toss who the likes of England, Liechtenstein & Belarus draw 😂
