Gallagher is as good as any centre back I've seen in the SPFL, even during his time at Livi I felt he stuck out like a sore thumb. Whether that's good enough to play International fitba, only time will tell

I was quite vocal about my worries with regards to the appointment of Stevie Clarke. I worried that it was another appointment driven by the media, and that the SFA weren't going to do their due diligence by seeking high and low for the best candidate because they were happy to appoint the easiest candidate... Something they have been guilty of numerous times in recent years. I worried about his track record, one decent season at WBA and another decent season at Killie doesn't make a Scotland manager in my opinion, but I was told 'aye but he coached at Chelsea and Liverpool for a while' 😂 Anyway, since his appointment I've not seen anything that fills me with hope, his squad selections, team selections have left me bamboozled at times, while performances and results have been utterly abject more than once during his short reign. Picking utter dug meat like Stephen O'Donnell more than once is criminal, the boy is so far out his depth it's unreal. He is the worst Scotland 'regular' that I can remember. Devlin is another strange case, as I really don't see what he brings to the table. While the inclusion of a guy that scores goals in a league with part-time clubs in it, is both maddening and worrying. I'm reading people saying that it'll allow Clarke to get a look at him, come on tae fuck, a Scotland squad isn't about giving lower league players a trial. It's utterly embarrassing. He's in the job now, and I'm of the opinion that he should be given a bit of time, but there are real causes for concern in my opinion.

Plenty I disagree on in terms of the squad that the man in charge has picked, but from what he has picked, I'd go with... Marshall A back 4 of, Jack... Cooper... Hanley... Robertson McGinn and McTominay With Forrest, Christie and Fraser ahead And McBurnie up top. Jack has played at right back numerous times and is a far better player than that dick fae Killie. Central defence is the hardest to work out, as all 4 centre backs picked are pretty much shite. Devlins inclusion is a bit baffling so I've ruled him out, while I've never like Mulgrew, which leaves Cooper and Hanley. The rest of the team pretty much picks itself for me, with guys in form (Forrest apart probably).

Thank god I don't pay money to watch this guff anymore... I knew Clarke was a mistake and he's going some way of proving it

I wouldn't have called McGinn up at that point either, just like I wouldn't have called Wallace or Black up when they were fucking about in kid on leagues. How far down do we go, there are fairly prolific strikers in the junior leagues, are they worth a call-up? The Scottish Premier is a bad enough standard to be taking players on international duty without going to the league below it... Fucking mental stuff
