I'm not disputing that McBurnie hasn't been great in his (very limited) time on the park...
... What I'm disputing is the absolute nonsense of writing him off and at the same time inviting absolute nobodies like Lyndon Dykes into the fold.
McBurnie is a young guy who has a long career ahead of him, he's not prolific at the top level but he's clearly got enough to his game to suggest that he'll have a better career than a guy who has score 4 goals for his country in 8 years?
I don't think McBurnie has had a fair crack of the whip, he's clearly a better player than most of our strikers, if not all, and we should persevere with him
How many minutes has he played for Scotland... And how many players got pass marks in the matches he played?
If you think Dykes is anywhere near McBurnies level, there is absolutely no point discussing this
I've never stopped watching Scotland...
... I'll requantify it though for the pedants like yersel...
... He's the worst player I can remember who has had a consistent run of games, and even now is still regularly picked in the squad. How he has had so many caps is baffling
I'd quantify that by saying he's the worst Scotland regular ever...
... There have been worse 'one cap wonders', but this haddy has managed to keep his Jersey for a fair amount of time now
The amazing world of the 'TA messageboard'... A guy that scored 2 goals for QOTS last season or a guy that go a multi-million pound move to the top end of the EPL... My fucking word
Currently there is only one person in the country who has 'outed' himself as believing that Billy Gilmour isn't ready for adults fitba... Let's hope Steve Clarke doesn't agree with that nugget Dohadeer
