  1. It's been a good 15 minutes. As I say that, he allows a Burnley player to shoot... I really wish he was more proactive out of possession.
  2. Scott McTominay starts. Hopefully another good performance coming up.
  3. From two days ago: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ryan-gauld-billy-gilmours-euro-23920037.amp Maybe some people just want him to be ruled out.
  4. Yeah. I used to dislike him doing commentary. So dull. He could make the aurora borealis sound like a carpet blotch But yeah, he seems to like McTominay, so maybe he isn't that bad
  5. I know. It must've happened about about ten times in those two matches. It even happened twice against the Faroe Islands.
  6. He's always buigging Scott McTominay up (probably because McTominay is good to Savage's son) so I don't mind him.
  7. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.scotsman.com/sport/football/international/scotland-striker-oli-mcburnie-a-doubt-for-euro-2020-after-suffering-broken-foot-3202355%3famp
  8. I've been extremely impressed by Thomas Tuchel. He has the potential of doing with Chelsea what Klopp has done with Liverpool. And in doing so, I think Gilmour might ultimately be to Tuchel was Roberson is to Klopp. Chelsea, if they keep improving, will be challenging Manchester City and United next season. I think Gilmour will learn a lot from Tuchel. Gilmour is a smart kid. The fact that Tuchel blocked a loan moan is a massive badge of honour. The Euro 2020 thing is a shame, but whose to say if he did go out on loan and played each week he'd make the cut? Turnbull is doing just that, he probably won't make it. Even more so with Gauld.
  9. Mason Mount, too. Forgot him.
  10. Anywho. Getting the thread back topic. It would be a nice bonus is James Forrest is fit and raring to go. I've always said that he's better and more effective in the middle, so either attacking midfield or beside Dykes. it's another option.
  11. 100% agree. Don't waste your time, mate. I gave visual evidence of three pretty much identical instances. Some people are so petty and childish that they'll argue that white is black. I feel sorry for those people that they can't grow and let go of grudges of x years ago. It's a shame.
  12. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, too. He's had two years at Manchester United and they're only now starting to come together.
  13. Yeah, well, good luck in providing proof that I that I said that it didn't matter if we qualified via the the play offs. As I never said such a thing. Provide proof or you're a complete and total liar. I did, however, say that we wouldn't qualify via the Playoffs (if we played with four at the back). I do have proof that you've been accused of being Chripper:
  14. Provide proof. I said no such thing. If you want to be accurate, I told Dohadeer that we have 0.001% chance of qualifying via the playoffs. Is that what you mean? If you're going to attack me, at least get it right.
  15. First time under Guardiola I've seen Manchester City smothered and choked. Chelsea play our system (3-4-2-3) but the difference is, they have Kante and Jorgingo could never gave their midfield a moment's piece when they pressed into Chelsea's final third. In 3 months he's moulded Chelsea into a machine and he's given then an identity, the first time they'd had one since Mourihno 1.0 Compare that to Arteta, who has been ar Arsenal for a year and a half and they look thoroughly clueless and lost. People can say what they will about Thomas Tuchel's treatment of Gilmour. He's an unbelievable manager.
  16. Austria's 1st Goal - 3:06 - Their man was allowed to shoot from 35/40 yard out. We had 6 outfield players on the edge of our own box, ball watching. with only one player within 5 yards of him. It should've been cut out at source. Austria's 2nd Goal - 6:12 - Their man was allowed to cross from about 35/40 yards out. We had 6 outfield players on the edge of our own box, ball watching. with only one player within 5 yards of him. It should've been cut out at source. Israel's goal - 2:41 - Their man was allowed to shoot from 40 yard out. We had 6 outfield players on the edge of our own box, ball watching. with only one player within 5 yards of him. It should've been cut out at source. All three goals were identical, give or take a few variables.
  17. Yeah. There's nothing wrong with him. When he was commentating on Amazon Prime he was a massive hit. It's nice having a commentator with a bit of personality, as opposed to the likes of Phil Neville. Society, generally, is always willing to push the "hate" button. At least you're big enough to admit that you were wrong. It's funny, some people call him "Mr Union" as a way to hate to him.. and yet these same people cheer on the British Lions. lol They don't get the irony. 😛
  18. Probably not. Early speculation it'll be Kante and Jorgino. Not confirmed, though.
  19. Yeah. I made the exact same observation about McTominay and McGinn being babysat by Fred and Douglas Luiz. People were offended by ther term "babysat". 😛 As you said, it was the same with McGregor and Brown It is. You have to wonder if it's bad coaching or just the aforementioned players switching off.
  20. Couldn't agree more. I can't remember who said it, (probably Roy Keane or someone of his ilk) but work rate and pressing should be a minimum expectation for a professional footballer. McGinn is probably the best at it, but his inclination to try to dribble out of tight situations tends to offset his defensive stuff.
  21. On this form, (Dykes scoring and assisting for fun and Che Adams forming a close relationship with the Southampton bench) if Adams starts at Euro 2020, it'll only confirm that Adams only agreed to commit to Scotland if he's guaranteed a starting spot for Euro 2020.
  22. Liam Henderson scores for Lecce. He's a starter for Lecce. Has been all season. They're 2 wins from promotion to Serie A. (If they win today. Currently they are)
  23. Now Lingard looks to be injured. Possible hamstring injury.
  24. Everyone talks about the evolution of players, but the evolution of David Moyes has been remarkable. At Everton he was known as a defensive, pragmatic manager. And he deserved that tag. Even with Rooney and McFadden, etc, Everton were dire to watch. A move to Manchester United didn't work out. Then there was a move to Sunderland and Real Sociedad, neither panned out. Now he's turned West Ham into an entertaining, slick, great to watch, football team that have a real chance of qualifying for the European Cup. (They probably won't, but just being in the mix is remarkable) He might not manage Scotland soon, but managing Scotland is his endgame
