  1. In the EPL team of the year: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48028713 Strange how they have these awards during the season and not after.
  2. I know. Just shows how good Manchester City are and how possession based football is king. Oh, Robertson will be the left back in the EPL team of the year. I don't know. Klopp bought Robertson and moulded him into what we see now. OGS doesn't seem to rate McTominay all that highly. When he does play the lad it's usually as a last resort.
  3. Looks like no EPL medal for Robertson this season.
  4. If that's the case then it's madness. Every since time the lad doesn't play the general assumption is that he's being kept for the next match. Does Solskjaer realize this McTominay is 22, not 32?
  5. McTominay misses out in the Manchester derby. I think he might be injured as he'd at the very least be on the bench
  6. That's all fine and good but none of them are particularly good. I'm being kind with that... the unkind version is that all seven of them are hopeless.
  7. Let me check. *checking* No. Did I mention that there should be a quota on homegrown Scots in match day squads? How about how I love 3-5-2 or that I loathe the SFA?
  8. Because personally I think the SPL (and the other lower leagues) should be forced to have a quota of Scottish players (that have come through their academy) in their match day squads. That and making the SPL larger are the ways forward. Have I mentioned in the past 24 hours that I have a proclivity towards 3-5-2? If not... I have a proclivity towards 3-5-2. Is so, I have a proclivity towards 3-5-2. Oh. In Scottish football there should be a quota on homegrown players in match squads. I still have a proclivity towards 3-5-2.
  9. Oh really? Interesting. Personally I think the SPL (and the other lower leagues) should be forced to have a quota of Scottish players (that have come through their academy) in their match day squads. That and making the SPL larger are the ways forward.
  10. Who said anything about "sevco"? Since you mention it, though, there is no team in world football called "sevco" - I looked it up. Really? What have I been wrong about? It's an easy thing to say, that it's not the first time I've been wrong, but no one has actually told me what I'm wrong about.
  11. Ew. The queen and south park. Two things that I love. Or not.
  12. Oooh! Aren't you the Shakespeare (Or Christopher Marlow) of the TAMB. If you really do want to be my pal then you can at least be nicer. Be pleasant. You can beg me to be pals if you want. I mean, I'd definitely say no, but it would be a fun process.
  13. Yeah, in no way am I your "pal". You can do all the research all you like and use it back up your narrative, doesn't cut much ice with me. I think everyone knows that it has sectarian undertones and to suggest otherwise is absurd. Would it actually kill people to say "Celtic" and "Rangers"? As opposed to stupid nicknames that have messy undertones? Too grown up to call a team by their actual name? I'm not taking any moral high ground. I don't have to.
  14. Yes. I do think I'm clever, kudos for noticing. Posting a photograph of the queen? OK. That's your right to do so, personally I wouldn't, but fine... Yeah, well, go and ask Steve Clarke what he thinks about Scotland and its seedy sectarianism. Let's see if he finds casual bigotry as a nice subject. I've never been immersed in sectarianism or any kind of bigotry. But you go ahead.
  15. Reasons to be offended? So, people who are offended by the "N" are just wee nancies that looking for reasons to be offended? This "looking for reasons to be offended" isn't applicable when people are saying words that are obvious intended to divide and cause anger. Keep on saying it, mate, personally it makes you look like a person who wants to divide Scotland, rather than united it. So go ahead.
  16. Is it a foreign concept that some people find the names "huns" and "tims" to be sectarian? Personally I think people should grow up and stop using silly names to divide us.
  17. Mcinnes: Long ball merchant who would be Levein mark 2 Moyes: He always flirted with the job when his stock was high, usually saying that he "wanted the job in the future." - Yeah, well, that's nice, David, but we don't want you. Ross: There's no chance. He has a project with Sunderland and there's no chance that he'd give up the chance of taking them into the EPL. Gemmill: No thanks. Mackay: No. Clarke: Whatever it takes, we should get him!
  18. He definitely has the talent, it's always been there, it's his temperament that's always been questionable. Same could be said for Trump, but Trump has started being more professional and starting treating the sport as a 9-5 gig. I think Maguire could surprise a lot of people, maybe not this year, but certainly in the next couple.
  19. It's not even that, it's the fact that he's on such a high, anything from now is a downer, even a win. Agreed, in snooker it's 95% about the mind, if you're weak mentally or you switch off then you won't reach the top. I do think because of these three players committing to this process Maguire could do very well next season. I can even see Higgins win another word championship.
  20. It's not because Maguire is so good. It usually happens in Snooker, an upset happens and then that player who made the upset gets knocked out in the next round, irrespective of the opposition. I think he's a better player than most give him credit for. If Dott can win the world championship then Maguire can, too. This "tartan snooker cell" of Higgins, Maguire and Dott (I think it's Dott) in interesting. They've gotten together and arranged regular training and practicing in Glasgow. I think we'll see the fruits of this labour next season. I think either of them could win the world championship in the next few years, if they keep up the cell. I think Trump could win it this season. He has an all-round game now, and that's come around because he's practicing more. Even if O'Sullivan was still in the tournament, I'd still pick Trump, as he's one of the few players that isn't scared of Ronnie.
  21. He'll lose to Maguire in the 2nd round.
  22. 9-8 O'Sullvian. (I was going to write 2 minutes ago. 9-8 Cahill.
  23. Agreed entirely. Plus let's be honest, in sports where they're there's a World Championship, players are always going to be judged by many they win. It's like in darts, Van Gerwin will probably win more titles than Phil Taylor, but unless he equals of beats Taylor's haul of World Championships he won't be considered the greatest. I hope he does, though, but I can't see it.
  24. Did I just see O'Sullivan yawning?!? Bloody hell... for a profession and a guy that conditions his body, the fact that he's knackered is... odd.
  25. It'll most likely finish 10-8 to O'Sullivan.
