  1. OK. Can you give me the names of these alleged 40 different people? I mean, surely if they documented the word of God as well as the creation of every single matter there must be documentation of the names of these people?
  2. It was a visual representative of Robertson being amongst the best left backs in the world. I thought that was obvious... apparently not. Also, if you are talking about value then Robertson's value has risen to £72million Link Not many "very good players" are worth £72 million.
  3. How are you a neutral if you're a Scotland fan? Eamon Dunphy Andy Robertson is World Class - Plus I'm guessing you weren't watching the NBCSN coverage over Man City - Liverpool when Phil Neville called him world class before the match. Andrew Robertson will be in the EPL team of the year, that's without question. He'd walk into any EPL team, and that includes Man City who paid £52million for Mendy. Very good? Wow... Yeah, I think we stopped after you called him a mere "very good".
  4. I'll ask you again, and will keep doing so till you give me a yes or a no. If God came to me in this year and I wrote the words he spoke to me, verbatim, would you believe me?
  5. I know you can't. When asked a question about theology, etc, you just cite a passage from the Bible. You never think for yourself, you're just posting words that other people have written. Would you believe me if wrote my very own Bible and told you that God told me to write it?
  6. It'll never be proved right, either. You say it's the truth? Fine. Show me the evidence that God created the heavens and the earth. And no, I don't want you to cite a passage from the Bible. Show me him creating everything. Not words.
  7. I'm relatively new here, but what I want to know is why do people engage with him? Anyone and everything that people say questioning the existence of Jesus or God, etc, he's always going to do what people who are unable to think for themselves do, and that is quote a conveniently vague passage from The Bible Fairytales. You can only reasonably debate issues with people who are able to counter arguments with logical and concrete rebuttals. A person who has volumes of vague references and blurred texts (which are more flexible than a contortionist) can never be proved wrong, as they use aforementioned references to suit their agenda. If I ask him (or any person in Team Bible) "Where is God?" More chances than not they'll spout something akin to seeing God in what he has created. We can see him in when we read his words, see his landscape that he sculpted, breath his air, blah, blah, di blah. No. I want coordinates. I want the literal geographic destination. If he can't do that then he's full of shit.
  8. Most Man United fans have said that he's a better player than McTominay.
  9. He isn't world class? So, you're declaring that he isn't world class? So you know more than the majority of Liverpool fans? A great number of professional pundits? Professional footballers? Fans of most EPL clubs? That's quite the declaration. I'm basing it on the fact that Andy Robertson is ranked as the fifth best left back in the world, and the youngest. Hell, ask most Man United fans if they'd accept a swap between Shaw and Robertson and I think the answer would blow your "biased" thing out of the water. He's definitely on course if he isn't there already. As Phil Neville said a week or so ago, fans seldom chant the name of a mere fullback.
  10. Robertson isn't world class? I'd be willing to bet you that 99% of Liverpool fans wouldn't swap Andy Robertson for any left back in the world.. That, to me, is the definition of word class.
  11. Well, Liverpool are quite a decent team, so it's hardly a hardship. It's not like it's Accrington Stanley.
  12. We have one world class player, it's nice to able to enjoy it while we can. Like people did with Andy Murray.
  13. Indeed it was. He attended School in England so he was obligated to represent England. It's amazing how many people still think he had a choice of playing for England. Back to Dembele. I'm not really fussed whoever he chose. It's my dream for us to produce dozens of players of Dembele's (alleged) quality per year. I'm not too bothered what this kid does, as it won't make much of a difference on the grand scheme of things. One thing is for sure, England are starting to produce kids of genuine quality, so much so that the best teams around Europe are taking note. They're doing it by design, whereas when we get a good player it's by accident.
  14. D'oh! I didn't even realize this thread existed... Ah well, Andy deserves two threads.
  15. (I thought that this deserved its own thread) One of the most professional and most talented athletes ever to come out of Scotland. A man who gave his all for his sport and a man who has made Scotland smile, and from a sporting stand-out, it was long overdue! And not only that, but a good man who believes in equality, a brilliant role model and a man has never forgotten where he comes from. The fact that he came out and declared his backing for an independent Scotland, despite the negativity which he was going to receive, speaks volumes of his confidence in his country. Money changes people, it makes them spoilt and it can turn some into complete intolerable ego-maniacal monsters, but Andy Murray is the same as he was before the Slams, the Olympic gold, the number one status as well as the fortune. A true legend, a gentleman and a credit to Scotland. Tennis will not be as colourful without him.
  16. Growing up I used to watch every match that was on Sky, but nowadays I don't really have time for it. Ironically, more matches are shown now, but I watch a lot less than I used to. It depends if there's a Scot playing. I try to watch as many Liverpool matches as I can. There's so many boring matchups in in the EPL, so I cherry pick the ones to watch.
  17. This is an interesting article: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/karamoko-dembeles-5-year-celtic-13835734 "McCart is confident the youngster has the mentality to make the right decisions - and he hopes it means the forward will choose the Lion Rampant over the Three Lions. He said: "He's allowed one more change. That's why he didn't play with Scotland in the Victory Shield." What exactly does this mean? Presently he's chosen England, so if he chooses Scotland in the future then he's tied to us? I don't get it. Do youngsters have a limited amount of times where they can change allegiance? For the record, I don't care who he choses, as long as it gets sorted out way or the other.
  18. I'd agree. He was one of those underrated players who just went about their business without much fuss and he was very much under the radar, a player that every team needs. It was interesting to see his game develop from being a mazy winger to being a central midfielder that you could trust to keep things ticking over.
  19. I was about to mention him, too. I remember watching Hartley when I was still at School in Hamilton. He broke through at about 17/18 as a winger, he was electric.
  20. Believe me, I wasn't comparing. Le Tissier was a genius. I don't know. I think the jury is still out on the lad. If he does it in the SPL then that can only a good thing.
  21. Mathew LeTissier? I agree, though. He's a luxury player. Luxury players can be forgiven for their laziness if they actually produce the goods. It'll be interesting to find out where Rogers plays him (Let's be fair, I don't think WBA would've sanctioned the loan if they weren't given the assurances that Burke would get game time) We're lacking a striker, so hopefully he plays a fair share up front. A front three of Fraser, Burke and Forrest could be absolutely devastating!
  22. No, I agree with that one, but it's still a little bit early to be writing a player off. Some players are late developers, just look at Paul Lambert. He was always a decent player with Motherwell in the SPL, but he was never a standout. I remember when Dortmund bought him, people in Scotland were scratching their heads and saying that he would be back in Scotland in no time... yes, he was, with a European Cup winner's medal in his suitcase. I know that it's not a good comparison, but some players blossom differently than others. With Lambert it was the change of position (He was an attacking mid with Motherwell) and the different training methods. Who knows, Rodgers might turn Burke's career around and Lennon with Gauld. Burke looks like the type of lad who needs a manager to show faith In him and wrap their arm around his shoulder. I think Rogers might be the man to do this. There's a massive talent in there, a definite game-changer, he would be such a potent weapon for Scotland if he could unlock his potential. He just needs to be coached by a top manager and one who knows how to get the best out of him.
